Triple room is a double bed plus a single. This is a family room in every other hotel I've stayed in. Very average breakfast. Very noisy if you have a room to the rear.

We had booked a triple room months in advance but when we got to the room, although the room was only set up for 2 people. When I called reception to ask for more towels, mugs and glasses, she claimed that only the rooms on the lower floor had been equipped for 3 people - strange that they know 3 of us were arriving yet they didn't set up the room. The extra things then took over 15 minutes to arrive. My main gripe is when the receptionist took a swipe of my card on arrival to "hold" funds in my account - I was not informed that they would hold an extra £40 on top of the room rate - so when I went to the cash machine before eating out, I was £40 short - luckily my friends could help me out but I think reception should inform you of this to avoid any embarassment.

The hotel was perfect for our needs on this visit: attending a concert in Manchester. The location is well placed for public transport. The breakfast was very good and the staff helpful and personable. We woud definitely book this hotel again.

Clean room, helpful, friendly receptionists, discount for car parking, breakfast good value and excellent selection of food. Would have liked a lounge for residents, as there were several lively people due to at home football match drinking at night.

The hotel is modern and clean and the included breakfast was a buffet very complete. The hotel is 5 minutes walking to the city hall, althought the street it is located in is not a main road.

Breakast excellent. Everythng was excellent for the price we paid. The only fault was the chambermaids putting their trolleys right outside our hotel room, very noisy, banging doors and talking from very early but they have to do their job. Do not have room 228!!

Bed's were comfy, shower was clean and ok ish. Breakfast was good. Only bad thing I can say was we were put in a funny shaped room (which we found was the smallest on the whole floor!) which proved difficult when getting suitcases into the room!

Excellent room. Very clean. Hotel had good facilities, a bar and restaurant to a good standard and we had a pretty peaceful and relaxing stay. Parking was across the road and discounted by the hotel. The hotel itself is close to the maiin shopping area (10 mins walk) and less than a fiver by taxi to most other amenities. We paid £85 for my wife and I and our 20 yearold son. Very good value. Thought it was excellent value for money for a short stay. Would stay again without question.

The location is good because the hotel is very close to the conference and exhibition center and to the city center as well. On the other side of the street there is a concert hall, too. The hotel can be reached by tram from the Piccadily train station. In the room there were only little place for our belongings. We had to keep a part of our clothes in the handbags.

nice rooms and friendly staff. nice rooms can accommodate 3 people, but only in one double bed and another single, so not completely flexible - but teenager cousins didn't mind sharing. could have free internet for a short time available in the foyer - £6 in expensive just to check something like opening times - budget hotels in france often seem to have this facility.

Nice, well laid out room. Clean. No heating in the bathroom. Room a bit dark. Needed central lighting rather than some spot lights and a lamp.

Staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived. All information about our room and stay was good. Great location to where we wanted to be for our stay in Manchester. Room was nicely decorated, modern, clean, warm which we needed in a cold January. Stayed for one night bed n breakfast couldn't find any faults with hotel. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Would also recommend the pub next door The Britain, small Cosy and reasonably priced for a city pint. Could do with some more pictures in the room, maybe above the bed and in corridors. had some nice ones of old Manchester, would like to see more around the hotel.
