the bathroom wasn't the same standard of the room
Was no problem coming back late
Staff were rude on check in. I've seen jury's inn before I stayed looks like a great hotel but very basic no value for money
Well ??? Nothing
The room was advertised as 42 q meters but in reality was much smaller. The old carpet on the floor and the decor of 80s all around. The room had a door dividing it from the other room through everything cold be heard, not pleasant atmosphere at the reception. Very cold in the room.
Beautiful hotel and location
Lack of sleep due to noisy neighbours
Excellent accpmodation ideal location for mk nightlife and shopping.
The price of sprits in the bar is very expensive two doubles was approx £17 ! The draught lagers are around £4 which is average. We went to the weatherspoons bar and we paid half the price for the same drinks.
No dedicated car park, but public parking nearby.
The rooms were clean & a good size, bed comfortable, all in all 8 out of 10
When we booked in & went to the room the a/c was not working in the room so had to complain, no problem though the very nice guy on the front desk sorted out a new room straight away and all was fine. very poor wi fi though up on the top floor, tenth floor.
Lack of parking
Self-service Breakfast layout was poor and not very logical
I had just one night stay . nice hotel located in a shopping area. walking distance (about 20 minutes) from the railway station
All I needed was a comfortable place to sleep, but this was perfect for that. Room included desk, double bed and sofa.
Was a little pricey
Look of the hotel was nice, and the staff were lovely and polite, location for Milton Keynes train station was perfect.
Shower/bath was a bit outdated. Bathroom in general was pleasant though.
Very friendly staff and a great location
Over priced drinks at the hotel bar rooms could do with a bit of a makeover
Clean and functional room; friendly and competent staff; good quality food in restaurant and bar.
Personally, I prefer to bathe using a good quality bar of soap, held in the palm of my hand, as opposed to fiddling around with liquid soap in dispensers fixed to the wall. Soap dispensers may look clean, modern and suave, but to my eyes suggests a penny-pinching attitude towards their guests.
The staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast had a great variety and was fresh. The room was clean & tidy, the shower lacked in power but other than that a nice hotel.
location staff room
bar closed too early shower cold
Room looked old filty bath was tiny iron was broken ironing board collapsed on my foot twice really felt uncomftable there
Great location, close to shops, bus and train station. Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay again next time we are in Milton Keynes. Thank you.
Really enjoyed my stay Very comfy bed Lovely bathroom Excellent view Over all a really lovely hotel in a very good location
Great location, friendly staff
Rooms could do with a refurb, pillows rock hard, and the toilet sounded like it was going to take off!!
The location was great and the staff couldn't have been nicer!
The WIFI didn't work with our French mobiles and tablets - it would not send the login code to a foreign number. There was only 1 bath towel in the room and 2 hand towels. Let's be honest - this is nothing to do with being eco friendly / less washing powder etc. If you book a room for 3 people and pay for 3 people, there should be 3 bath towels in this day and age when we all shower at least once per day. The air conditioning was so noisy we had to turn it off to sleep - except then it was too hot!
ease of finding the hotel from the station good central location very comfortable quiet room
a little pricey I thought but this seems true of Milton Keynes generally
Internal door meant that we were awoken by lots of noise and had to leave at 2.30am to return home
