Friendly helpful staff when checking in nothing was a problem, staff in restaurant also helpful we got there in time for a meal they said that they was about to close because they had been quite all evening , they let us have a table anyway food was nice but a little pricey
Staff were very friendly and professional.
No parking at the hotel meant a short walk back to the car the following morning.
200 characters are not enough, room was full of noise from the lift shaft, breakfast was a fiasco, no parking, poorly supplied bathroom the list is endless. grossly overpriced.
Nice comfy bed, TV worked well, nice and clean.
Having to pay £5 to park our car about 200 yards across a busy road. Very noisy lads and girls walking past the hotel shouting till 3.0 in the morning.Woke us up three times.
Easy to book on line played on line arrived signed in had a great night left in morning no problems.
Cannot think of anything I did not like .
friendly, efficient, comfortable
roundabout location-busy traffic for pedestrians and no site parking !
Service of bar staff when eating
Good location and very clean
It's proximity to a beautiful park for strolling around.
location car parking
looks increasingly tired and not overly clean. staff lacklustre. bar exceptionally rowdy, mostly with customers complaining about the lack of service.
Professional staff, rich breakfast with tasty porridge, fast taxi service. The room was equipped with additional full-size single bed for our teen child.
A little bit noisy in the mornings because of construction near the hotel.
Lack of staff on checking out. There was one member of staff and it was obviously a busy time for checkout as the Queue was 8 deep
Extremely noisy in the corridors
beds not comfortable to sleep.
just across the road from the town centre parks - nice for an early morning stroll, also fairly convenient for Southampton station.
The staff went out of their way, in every department, the checking in staff and the restaurant staff were fantastic. Our shower didn't work the morning of check out we reported this to the reception, the receptionist apologised and offered us complimentary drinks to say sorry, which we appreciated, and thought this was lovely gesture.
on booking.com we were given a option to request early book-in which I did, but when I rang the hotel to confirm this the duty manager was not aware this was an option! It didn't matter because we were time anyway due to getting lost. The map on the booking confirmation was very poor.
room was good a great view of the port area and the ship we were going on holiday on, food was excellent in the evening, and the breakfast was also excellent, we will use Jurys Inn next time we cruise from Southampton, as it was easy to get to and to get to the port area
the only down side was there was no on site parking, it was across the road, which meant dragging heavy suitcases across the road, also this hotel is used by families visiting Peppa Pig world so there were a lot of young children around, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, go somewhere else, it didn't bother us we were only there for 1 night
It had a bed, enough hot water, was aceeptably clean, the wifi worked without problem and the staff did their best.
The only bit of my dinner order that was correct was that it was technically a steak. It took 30 minutes to get a coffee at the 'Costa' bar, and then it was prepacked not fresh ground. The taxi ordered by the staff arrived 40 minutes late.
location to restaurants and shopping centre
lack of car parking Guest,s and staff stood outside main entrance smoking!!
The hotel was reasonably convenient for the Docks. Taxi service was excellent. Restaurant adequate and breakfast very good
Check in and out was slow and had difficulty in coping with large Groups.
Always use this hotel when in Southampton. Good location for theatre and close to city centre.
Check in was very slow this time, and that was after we had had a coffee in the lounge because housekeeping were still getting rooms ready. Probably wasn't helped by a fire drill just as we arrived.
Helpful polite staff ,excellent room ,superb breakfast
Position of hotel ,lack of car parking ,though we did use the jury inn one £5 when we eventually parked up there were loads of people hanging around some with sleeping attire so they were there for the night which made us feel uncomfortable
