The hotel was lovely I don't have a bad thing to say about it at all. The staff were very accommodating and even when my friend had lost his phone, the Concierge just couldn't do enough to help. Great place to stay. The only thing that I can say us the fact that they don't offer room service. Didn't fancy going down to the restaurant as I had just had a shower...had to send the fella out for some food instead.

Other than the location and the Breakfast absolutely nothing I unfortunately stayed at Jurs inn Croydon on Monday November 14th 2011. I have been recovering fromm a severe chest infection so have not felt the best. After travelling from Norwich for meetings in London I took the train out to Croydon to spend the night ahead of business meetings at the next door Regus building the following day. 1/ My Key did not work. This resulted is 3 trips from the seventh floor with all my baggage before one very surely feamle member of staff gave me a key that worked. 2/ On entering the room it was absolutely freezing. 3/ The TV did not work. Looking at the double plug at the back of it unfortunately it was lose in the wall I hit the double socket and on came the TV. I went out for my evening appointment having adjusted the heating and informed the totally diinterested staff of the electric issues. On my return nothing had been done and the room was still freezing. I adjusted the system as instucted and fell asleep in bed At 1.30am I woke up freezing the bathroom extractor also did not switch off all night.I tried to call reception as I did not feel well but the phone did not work. So I was reduced to putting a blanket over the quilt and sleeping in my overcoat. After Breakfast the duty manger accompanied me to my room and aggreed all my complaints and said he would put it right for me. I had paid on arrival and picked up my receipt then. I met 2 colleagues in the hotel and the coffees were free The duty manager then gave me a new receipt he said in an envelope which I assumed was a refund or at least an adjustment. It turned out to be the same receipt as the night before. Staff unfriendly and in all my years of staying in hotels weekly its the worst nights experiance I have ever had. Really nice hotel for location and cleanliness but the manager and most of the staff should be sacked.

It is close to the train station It took them a long time to find my reservation and did not understand the fact that I have a double-barrelled surname. The shower only ran cold water and the bath only ran scolding hot water, the floor around the toilet was dirty. The food service was terribly slow and their frustrations were evident. Not a good stay, will never stay there again and doubt I'd ever go to any other Jurys Inn after that!

Hotel is clean, staff is kind. There is a 24h reception. The hotel is not located in London centre, but you can take a train from East Croydon stn and reach the city centre in 20 minutes. The station is only 5 minutes walk from the main entrance of the hotel. The bathroom was a little bit old featured. More bath-towels and hand-towels should be provided. Hair-dryer is not available. There is a restaurant inside the hotel, but is not very good and offers a few choices only. This service should be improved.

Excellent location at an incredibly good price for b & b so close to Central London. Hotel is very clean and modern and better than anything else available in the area. Have stayed a couple of times and never quite get what I booked, for example this time asked for non-smoking twin room as up with a mate to watch football but got allocated a smoking double room which they said they couldn't change!!

The reception staff were particularly helpful over two or three small but important (to me) matters. The room was not comfortably warm and the instructions for guests didn't help.

Not much. I would never stay here if I was spending my money Jury's Inn represents one of the most boring hotel chains in the World. Everything is also extra. Example: If a small cafe or chip shop can afford to provide wireless Internet for free why cannot this hotel chain in its bar or lobby area. This is a business hotel for crying out loud!

Excellent welcome and friendly staff. Good, clean, comfortable room. Proximity to the Fairfield Hall, Croydon. On late return from concert friendly bar staff who fed and watered me. Did not disturb long - as tired. I was in 425 and could hear the people in next room talking.

Good price with breakfast included. Good links to London via close train station. Staff were useless right from check in. Due to booking via booking.com we were informed the rate did not include breakfast but it did and there was nothing they could do to fix! So every morning for 11 days we had to go through the same drill - breakfast not included we have to charge routine and then we have to go to front desk and get them to phone thru and explain breakfast is included - every day!! Some staff said they would fix but in the end they just gave up - upon check out I raised again when asked about stay and I was given the same story About the rate code - I said that is not my problem and it should have been fixed ! It became embrassing to be honest as sometimes staff got defensive towards us!

The room was nice and internet was good speed in the rooms. The staff were very poor. Receptionists and Bar staff alike really let the hotel down. The food was good and I feel sorry that the staff at front of house let down the whole experience. The tv in the bar had a terrible quality and the staff were disinterested when asked to sort it out.

For me, the location in Croydon is ideal. For a budget hotel, the value for money is exceptional - one feels as if they are in a 3 or even 4-star hotel. When compared to similar budget hotels, i.e., Travelodge, Jury's Inn is by far the better choice. We were in room 406 (Croydon) and there was a strange damp-like smell. We quickly got used to it, but it hit you as soon as the room was entered. Small point: two pillows per person as minimum would be ideal.

The Staff in the hotel is helpful. Hotel room and surrounding is very clean, The Breakfast is very good. Only things is location is not hear London, take 15 mins by train to London bridge. However, the hotel is near the train station ( East Croydon ) which make it accessible. Check out time is 12 noon.

Booked room with breakfast but room only acknowledged. Sorted in the end. Noisy room as party in next room, reception slow to pick up phone when making complaint. The hot water was not working when asking to fix problem reception said it was a known problem all that week and that they apologised! further complaint to duty manager got apology and refund. All in all good location but room being noisy and shower with cold water in December made the stay very uncomfortable.
