Jurys Inn NottinghamWaterfront Plaza, Station Street, NG2 3BJ Nottingham (Show map) Very good, Score from 505 reviews“The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The shower was great - really powerful. We had a lovely view as we were on the 11th floor. The staff were really friendly and allowed us to have our room until 3pm, at no extra cost, so that I could shower after running the 1/2 marathon. Breakfast was good.”

I arrived late and stressed and had trouble parking the car - the duty manager was extremely helpful and stepped in to sort out my problems Car parking - I possibly parked in the wrong car park and got a ticket - very badly signed and it is hot very pleasant as a solo female traveller to have to go to that car park at night - 10.30 in my case - and in bad weather.

The location was great - everything was within walking distance. The train station, bus station and city centre. The room was a good size and the bathroom was very clean. Very impressed. I suppose the downside was that it is a city centre hotel and we stayed there on a Friday night. There was a group of lads staying on the same floor as us and were very drunk and as a result, very loud. The staff were pleasant enough, but didn't feel very welcoming.

Convenience. Cleanliness, attitude of staff were excellent. We were a party of six -definitely not a hen party and were given rooms on three floors, would have preferred to be next to each other. One room suffered from a really loud group who partied all night on the 8th floor. They were given a reduction in price, but woulld have preferred a good night's sleep.

The hotel is very close to the train station so perfect if you are catching public transport to Nottingham. Hooters (depending on your taste) is literally 100 metres away. The staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurant is decently priced and the portion sizes are great. The only thing is there is no parking. If there is space you can park on the street it is free after 6pm (I think) until 7am. Which is perfect if you are arriving at night and move your car the next day but unfortunate if you are arriving during the day.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn't have breakfast, but heard it was excellent. We booked a double room but the bed was very small, it seemed as if it was a twin room with one bed removed. Also on our second day the bed was very nicely made and the bins were emptied but we had to use the same cups for our tea as our dirty ones from the previous day were not replaced.
