Score from 704 reviews Good
Almost everything, the room was nicely appointed, well lit with cable television. I liked the fact that they had an in-house bar where you can order food at all hours of the day. The location of the hotel was great as well, just a five minute walk from Nottingham Train Station.
The location is convenient for the city.
The place is looking quite tired now and car parking is not great - it is several minutes walk with suitcases.
Location and price
Great location, Brilliant room, Great views, Friendly staff. Lovely all round really
Draft from under the room door, very cold in the corridor which was blowing under the door. Plugged up with a towel overnight.
Air conditioning was already on in the room in November! The bar food was below average.
The Location, the Hotel, the Staff are always friendly and helpful..
Great location for the arena
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, decent amenities.
I had dinner at the hotel bar, ordered fish and chips and when I cut into it there was a flood of uncooked batter pouring out. bright side was that the lovely waitress understood, replaced my dish and took it off the bill.
Excellent for the arena and getting in to city centre. Freshly cooked snacks and light meals, even outside normal schedule. Public areas well furnished. Really excellent breakfast.
The very small double bed.
can you provide free or paid toothbrush
Bsthroom was a little cool in room 325
locality, staff friendly and helpful, warm quiet room
would have liked a different type of menu
The location was perfect for the train station and the arena. Overall a very good hotel and I would certainly use it again.
We travelled on a very cold day so expected a warm room but the heating system was very hit and miss.
Rooms were clean, modern and warm - staff were pleasant enough
Food in Bar & Grill ceased at 9.45. Our stay was for a show at Capital FM Arena. We intended to eat afterwards. Show finished 10pm - could not at hotel and not even in town - restaurants had all stopped serving - this was a Tuesday night but nonetheless! Thank goodness for a fish & chip supper but not what we had planned! Returned to hotel and they stopped serving coffee in the Bar at 10pm - had to resort to the room - reception kindly provided milk from the kitchen. Food at breakfast was fine but not much selection. The bed was only a 4ft 6in and seemed even smaller! The room was certainly big enough for a 5ft which seems the norm these days. Cant pull up outside and parking facilities a 5 mins walk away (we were advised) at £11 for overnight stay - however in the morning our car was blocked in behind about 10 cars and we (with another couple) had to wait for the staff to move all those cars before we could leave! A good job we did not have to be somewhere on time!
The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk from the excellent shopping centre. It is over the road from Hooters where the food is great and a short cab ride from the Lace district for bars and clubs. Would stay again
the location was ok. Reception is very smart and the bar was fine.
The car park was further than we thought it would be. The rooms were very basic. Very dull decor. The bathroom was very unappealing. Nothing luxurious or nice about the room. Even the doors were like a care home
problem with door lock
Location was great, 10 mins walk into town and 2 mins from train station.. breakfast was very good, and reception staff pleasant and helpful.
Considering the entrance was grand, our room was tired.. stained carpet and dated decor with a very small window, a bit disappointing.. traffic noise was annoying, as we were overlooking the ring road. a lot of noise outside our room from 6am onwards.
We liked everything don't have any dislikes..room was great they gave me the extra pillows I asked for no problem. Breakfast was lovely...
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good location.
Room rather small, duvet far too thin and not enough sound-proofing in place so noise from the corridor is significant
The staff and cleanliness
As hotel full think needed more staff at breakfast to keep up with Buffett provision but what was available was good
I asked for ironing board and iron and it was delivered before I put the phone down as I was going out that same evening. Brilliant service
No plug sucket by bed, had to keep getting up when my phone rang as It was being charged
Proximity to Station Proximity to Capital FM Arena -where we saw Jeff Wayne's 'War of the Worlds' Friendliness of staff Well appointed room Very good food Tea/Coffee facilities in room
Why no tablet soap in the bathroom? The liquid soap dispenser is out of reach if you are in the bath.
