no one at reception for most of our 2 night stay.
Hotel staff friendly and my single room had everything I needed for a one night stay. Very comfortable and clean.
Good Value for Money Stayed one night, all was very good. All you need for one night. Thanks
Unpolite personnel Dirty rooms Poor breakfast
+We've spent 1 week in "Small Double Room". +Very kindly woman at the reception! +Comfortable bed and all the facilities included in this room. +Good Kosher breakfast:bread, buns, cereals, toasts, eggs, tuna, hummus, jam, salad, olives, fruits, cookies, orange juice. +Excellent WI-FI. +Good location, about 4 minutes walk to Stamford Hill station and then 20-30 minutes to London center.
-Low pressure shower. -Sticky floor in the breakfsdt room.
Close to London Bus stations
The rooms are separated by chip wood, so u could hear everything happening in the next room :P
I only seen one member of staff, her name was Sarah, she was really good , helped me feel welcome!
The smell in the room, the bed was uncomfortable , and the shower could of done with a slight update.
Staff were helpful and the hotel was easy find.
I've spent there only one night. Everything was ok. I'll recommend this place to everyone. Cheap and clean. Good connection with city centre.
- reception lady was nice and understanding that I left
- room was moist and had an unpleasant smell (used to be a smokers room, I assume) - the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky => left after one night and looked for a better hotel
Personal property with a lot of personal cleanliness outstanding center very well. The restaurant is very conveniently accessible and delicious
Good choice if you need just a clean bed to sleep after a long day .
Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. They allowed me to enter my room earlier, as soon as it was available. Even gave me a complimentary breakfast on early arrival.
Nothing, whilst the room was clean the duvet cover was badly stained, very off putting!!! As it was almost 10.00 when I arrived and to late to do much about it, I chose to sleep on top of the bed
The room (109) smelt stale and dirty, also an over powering smell of curry from the kitchen prevented me from bringing my fresh clothes for next day out of my car. The noise and clatter from the kitchen ( room was next door to the kitchen) was very annoying and prevented me from getting to sleep until after 11. Constantly flashing bulb in the bathroom. Shower took almost 8 minutes to get warm enough to use as did all the hot water. Free parking advertised was very disorganised resulting in damage to my hired car and a £250 insurance penalty. Would not recommend and will not be visiting again. Definately a false economy to stay here.
the hotel - the ambience, the overwhelming smell
Economical Helpful and accommodating staff
Breakfast Room decor
Cleanliness of room. Value for money. Pleasant staff.
It's basic, which is fine - if you want somewhere in North London that is simple, cheap and clean this is perfect.
Friendly staff and clean accomodation. Good public transport services.
A little outdated
Great value with free parking.
A little outdated.
The lady on Reception went out of her way to help me with my personal needs: breakfast wasn't officially until 8 but she ensured everything was there early for me as I had to leave before then. Thank you! Also, excellent to have a fridge in the foom!
Spent very comfortable 2 weeks here. Economical for London. Peaceful neighborhood. Kettle, fridge, instant coffee / tea in room. Good breakfast bagels, cereal, toast etc. Supermarket and a great Jewish bakery few doors down, fish and chips across the road. About half hour in bus from London center was how I commuted, but overground train short walk away connects to tube.
Can't think of anything. Be aware that Shabbat is observed Friday night to Saturday night, so special arrangements apply for picking up keys, etc during that time.
Bigger-than-usual room and bathroom, unlike what you'll find at a typical London B&B.
No round-the-clock desk. Kitchen smell kind of pervasive.
