Pillows were a little hard!
Meals were good and staff very friendly .good location for going sight seeing x
No bathrail to get out of bath and no toilet brush in toilet .that's in room 4 ...
Comfortable bed Main meals good quality
Toilet/ Shower room had no fan or window that opened also not a lot of room to move about to get dried Breakfast set up not great self service tea/coffee and toast Toaster Faulty both days
Found me another more expensive hotel
They had booking but no rooms.
Location, food was very good and tasty. Ample car parking spaces
Wi fi only free in public areas. As I am not used to sleeping in a single bed, I found it a little uncomfortable, and certain areas of my room had not been cleaned in years.
My wife and I travelled to Kiam hotel from Shropshire for our daughters wedding. The hotel was in a perfect part of town for us to get to the church and the vu for the reception. The staff were more than helpful and was well impressed with a certain lady helping me fix my button hole. Nerves was my excuse. Thank you all
We had a very annoying family whom didn't give any thought to anyone's privacy.. They continued to shout and bang up and down the corridors
when booking I had requested caffeine free teabags. there were none available, when I told them it was requested, the hotel said that they were sorry but no request had been passed onto them
Very friendly and great food especially the breakfast
bath,very comfortable bed
Cooked breakfast average
Food, comfort, relaxed and friendly staff
Location, friendly helpful staff
Staff very helpfull and friendly. Food was very good and compimentary breakfast very good. parking
Friendly staff and food excellent, ideal location for Railway Station to Glasgow or Edinburgh and beyond
Toilet seemed to have a mind of its own and flushed during the night
location near to trainstation
very small room
Good location as it is only 10 min walk to train station to go to Edinburgh.Bar facilities good.
Breakfast service poor.Coffee/tea containers always empty. Also the milk and orange juice were empty.Did get refilled but only one restaurant staff on so service was very slow. The room was cramped and smelled damp.We were just above the extract fans for the restaurant so there was persistant humming all night. The bar is also for public use and can become VERY noisy even late at night so this can affect your sleep
Perfect for the price we paid.
Food and service were good and staff were all polite
The only comment was the noise of the en suite Saniflow during the night.
Good cooked Breakfast Clean rooms
Very uncomfortable bed needs new mattress bathroom to small, toilet roll holder on the wall above head ! Shower cubicle to small breakfast requires more variety
Convenient location near to motorway for Edinburgh and Glasgow. Good breakfast.
Having to walk through the restaurant to get to my room each time. Looks better in its photos than in reality.
Friendly staff Breakfast
Food in restaurant was excellent
Messed up on the bill
Staff were very helpful, rooms quiet, location fantastic for The Vu in Bathgate and breakfast amazing. Parking was secluded from the main road and fairly secure.
Room 3 Wooden bed frame creaked and groaned with every turn during the night and the mattress was very worn and weakened where i slept. Never slept a wink unfortunately. My daughter was in room 2 and bed was comfy and creaking free. If you get offered room 3, request another because other than that the stay was perfect.
Staff were very friendly and attentive, other than the lady in charge of the breakfasts, who didn't really want to be there...we were spending a few days in our home town after 40 years in Australia, so the location was perfect for us.
The room that we had was very small and tired - in particular the bathroom really need freshening up and painting, with stains on the wall, and a general air of neglect.
The staff ,the meals where good.
The shower controls and the toile door was sticking .the room door was hard to lock and unlock.
Nice food, courteous staff clean and comfortable rooms
