Situated on the shores of the Kyles of Bute, Kames Hotel boasts original Edwardian features, home-cooked food and an extensive range of malt whiskies and local ales. Free Wi-Fi is featured in each room at Kames, as well as an en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms also come with a sea view. A hearty full Scottish breakfast is served each morning, which guests can enjoy with a view over the sea. Freshly ground coffee is also available, as well as Loch Fyne kippers and porridge. A bar menu including hand-made burgers and battered haddock is also on offer, as well as a specials board with the catch or game of the day. Kyles of Bute Golf Course is a 10-minute walk from the hotel and offers a 9-hole course with a picturesque backdrop. The setting is stunning, with magnificent views of the Kyles of Bute, Staff are very friendly, room was lovely, breakfast very good and plentiful. That we had to leave in the morning.
