Karden House16 Charlton Street, LL30 2AA Llandudno (Show map) Wonderful, Score from 103 reviews“Fantastic location and the couple running it were very nice. Breakfast was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Great location within walking distance to anything in the town. ”

Dublin
This family-run guesthouse enjoys a peaceful location on one of Llandudno’s quiet tree-lined avenues, yet it is within easy walking distance of the beach and all the major attractions. Karden House has a great location from which to explore all that the seaside town of Llandudno has to offer. The beach is just a short walk away and the center of town is also within easy reach. For travel slightly further afield, the guesthouse also has easy access to public transportation, as Llandudno train station is just around the corner. In the evenings, you can sink into the sumptuous leather seats in the TV lounge and enjoy a drink from the bar, which offers a full table service. Alternatively, during the warmer months, you can sit out in the Karden’s delightful patio area at the front of the property, which is a designated smoking area. Hotel Rooms: 10

I was fortunate to find this wonderful hotel. I only stay in decent places! Amazing value for money, the bedroom I stayed in was a single - beautifully appointed, extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly. The guest tv room looked very nice too. The whole place was great, the staff were very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate in returning and thoroughly recommend it.

It was very clean and quiet with a lot of attention to the furnishing and facilities of the rooms. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. It was difficult to fault - certainly extremely good value for money. It was a bit disappointing that wi-fi was not available in the room as this was clearly described as being being available in the hotel details.

We were aware of the hotel as friends had stayed there earlier in the year and so it was recommended by them. It was better than we had expected and the owners were very nice people which added to the stay. We will go back, the wife tells me we will and you know what that means !

very clean rooms with comfortable beds and bedding. Had access to lounge area both for relaxing and eating take-out food. Owners were very friendly and gave information on the area/things to do. Breakfast was very good with choice of hot (Full English) and cold items. Great location for walking to seafront, shops and attractions.

we felt that the ruling stating everything must be silent after 9.30pm was well over the top.

As a solo traveller, it was very good value for money. I had a single ensuite room with a very large breakfast for less than £30 per night. It is located one block from the train station and one block from the beach front which was perfect when travelling with luggage. The owners were very pleasant and accomodating. I would definitely stay at Karden House again when I next visit Llandudno.

Room 1 is ideal if you can't manage stairs and the owners were happy to bring breakfast to your room. My mum who is 80 didn't go down stairs for breakfast so they gave me a plate of toast for her which was very kind of them. We stayed in room 1 and the single bed was uncomfortable because it was on a slope. Either the floor was uneven or the legs on the bed were. I'd read the reviews on the breakfast so had high expectations but I felt it was no better than average. Breakfast is served from 8 to 9 which might be a bit too early for some people.

Pleasant B&B clse to the rail station and town centre. Friendly staff and a good breakfast.Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately I had very little sleep as there was noise from next room causing me to knock on their door at 1am and shout at them again at 2am, rather spoilt the stay.

The proximity to all of the major local attractions The room (104) was a little cramped - it would have been fine for an overnight stay, but it was a little difficult to manage for 2 days.
