Best Western Plus Keavil House Hotel  

Shower was very poor.

We enjoyed our stay as it was a family party. On the whole the facilities were good... Over all we had a pleasent stay

We did feel the shower in our room was very poor and on the whole the place was looking a little tired through out the hotel. We do alot of traveling and find that English hotels need to brighten there decor up to make it feel more welcoming and cosier, especially taking into account our wonderful weather.

The bed it was comfy

The lack staff. the staff that were there were very good but did not know where to turn next and people were left waiting for ages. The bathroom was of poor quality for this standard of rating of hotel.

Location and standard of rooms

Disappointing dinner, and expensive for a badly cooked meal.

Excellent room, facilities (the spa in particular), friendly and helpful staff. A good base to relax in the hotel or short drive into Dunfirmline or Edinburgh to sight- see and shop. Buffet breakfast excellent, evening meal very good ( no need for lunch after the breakfast). Leisurely walks in the grounds, squirrels and pheasant in abundance. Upon opening the bedroom window on the first morning three hen pheasants flew up onto the window ledge, tame or what? Will definitely book again when needing a short break and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Shower in en-suite not very good, low pressure. Go for swim, spa etc and have a refreshing shower in the leisure centre

The lovely view from room and the delicious shortbread at reception. We wer also given an room upgrade on arrrival.

Room was very warm (as were corridors) fortunately we could open a window

Lovely spacious comfortable rooms.

Serving a good (expensive) brandy in a sundae dish rather than a brandy goblet.

The room was a good size. The decoration of the hotel was good. The staff were very friendly.

Its not a complaint but a suggestion. Re breakfast - there could perhaps be a better choice if you did not want a cooked breakfast - say pancakes, pasteries, etc.

Stayed here for a wedding.. I loved our room as we could open the french window and sit on the beautiful gardens.. I would recommend it .

the facilities including pool and sauna were a great bonus. the restuarant was nice although the lack of any form of service at breakfast on sunday was a disapointment!

the room was a disabled access room next door to the cleaners store!very noisy in the morning and no bath! while the room is ideal for disabled people, being 6'4" the room was far from ideal for me.... the miniscule sink was level with my knees which made brushing my teeth in the morning a challenge!

I enjoyed the tranquil location and the company I was with

The friendly staff. The pleasant swimming pool. The location was very suitable for our needs.
