Keepers Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Made to feel at home, Micheal and his family made us very welcome. The location is beautiful surround by open countryside with great views. Only been there 5 minutes a glass of wine and muscles were served!! The breakfast was Super!! Three sausages were served, two more were offered, hearty breakfast!! Will defiantly be returning soon xx

Nothing everything was perfect!

A georgeously converted farm house run by a charming gentleman that cannot do enough to make you stay pleasant. Very friendly and superb breakfast too.

The beauty and warmth of the exquisite cottage we stayed in and moreover the same of our lovely host(s) who greeted us warmly upon our arrival with a lovely dinner and wine and lovely chat and subsequent meals were paramount to our experience. Felt instantly at home in the STUNNING beauty of the architecture of the home and grounds and though arrived in the dark - got 'hint' of the peace and serenity that was all about. Our cottage was breathtaking - WAY more than i expected - especially for the value!! WOW - felt like royalty. Waking up the next morning to the beautiful sun and blue skies and green of nature all around - we knew we were in Heaven; Paradise on Earth and had indeed made the right choice to stay there. Michael and his lovely stunning home exceeded EVERY expectation. I would hope ANYONE who visits Glastonbury and other surrounding areas can experience this as well. Would highly recommend this to anyone for local business in town as conveniently located - yet FAR enough away to feel you were in another magical world in the country in tranquility and peace away from the city for a perfect getaway. Really couldn't have been more divine. Can't wait to go back. Truly was a special highlight of our trip and being the FIRST place we landed upon our journey in the UK - it was hard not to hold this place as a true standard of what a Bed & Breakfast should really be. ALL other B&B's should emulate what Michael has so masterfully accomplished with the beauty of the home - setup location and most of all his warm heart and generous hospitality. He made us feel like family and royalty indeed. A magical experience we will never forget. Gratitude and love to you Michael and sister as well.

That we didnt get to stay there long enough - would have loved another day or two to really explore the grounds and the home more and enjoy the company of our gracious host and the other lovely guests that were magnetized there as well.

Everything about our stay was truly wonderful, I would like to say it was awful so that no one would go and it was always available when I wanted to go! Michael was a perfect host, as were his lovely family. The cottage was enchanting and the perfect place to unwind. Breakfast was huge and delicious. I haven't stopped thinking about the fabulous time we had and we can't wait to return.

We very much enjoyed the owner Michael, the beautiful hand built cottage we stayed in,the wonderful way everything was presented and prepared in a thoughtful inclusive manner. What more can you ask for when you are in a foreign country but to be treated with kindness as though one was an old friend. Thank you Michael for a lovely stay!

The accommodation is set in a beautiful and peaceful area of Glastonbury. Michael is a wonderful host and looks after everyone so they feel at home.

Did not like leaving !!

The most friendly welcome I have ever received. We were given a glass of wine each and smoked salmon. Our bags were collected and taken to the cottage. A large jug of milk provided in the fridge. Beautifully decorated and comfortable lounge with a very large bedroom above and seperate kitchen and bathroom. The breakfast was superb! We will definately be staying again when in that area.

It was set apart from pther houses and as a result was very quiet. The room was huge, seperate lounge, bathroom and bedroom. The service was warm and friendly from the outset. It was a pleasure to look out of the windows and see nothing nut countryside. I will be staying there again.

No wardrobe.

The friendliness of Michael who owns Keepers Cottage was second to none. We were greeted with a glass of wine and he could not do enough for us. The location is beautiful and peaceful. There has been a lot of thought put into the building of the cottages. The bath was outstanding - so big you could swim in it. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and presented well. Michael's approach to hospitality is without fault. Definitely booking again. Have recommended to friends and family.

It is not that we don't like anything but we would like to suggest wardrobes or hooks to hang things on would be good. The breakfast was extremely generous and could be customised to suit a guest's appetite.

A different and refreshing take on B&B,- Michael is a very welcoming and helpful host who invited us to join him for a glass of wine on arrival - we soon felt like friends of the family! Finding the property was a little difficult but very worthwhile. A lot of thought, work and effort has been invested in this quality project by Michael and it was really worth visiting, we only wish we could have stayed longer rather than just the one night stay en route.

Not too easy to go out and find an evening meal without driving - best to eat before arriving or bring some food with you!

Everything. Mike the host was really welcoming, the rooms were superb. The breakfast was fabulous. All facilities needed were available. Cant rate it highly enough.

Everything! Particularly the very warm welcome from Michael. The cottage was wonderful and the breakfast was outstanding. We were only stopping for one night but we wished it was for longer! We will be going back and staying for as long as we can next time. In our view this is the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Well done Michael!!

What a wonderful stay we had with our host Michael and the gorgeous cottage we stayed in. The welcome was marvellous with a glass of wine and the house is just beautiful with fabulous tasteful furnishings. Michael was a star and looked after us so well. Would well and truly like to return.

Finding keepers cottage was like finding a jewel in the midst of the stunning Somerset countryside....the building has been lovingly & sympathetically restored. I stayed in the king, fabulously comfortable bed, enormous bedroom, dressing room, bathroom - the hallway my accomm was bigger than most b&b bedrooms. The shower was luxurious - never wanted to get out of it & the bath was big enough for a family of otters to float around in! The brekkie's were so substantial that it was enough to keep you going to dinner time (accommodated gf diet). Michael - the owner is welcoming & eager for your stay to be perfect - ask if there is something you need. If you are intending to come to Somerset, do yourself a big favour, stay at keepers cottage, you won't be disappointed.

Michael was a fantastic host,made us feel very welcome and greeted us with a glass of wine. The cottage for the price was exceptional, clean and spacious. The breakfast was freshly cooked on the aga and although we only stopped one night we felt as we were leaving an old friend. We hope to return in the very near future.

Very nice place to stay, Owner made you very welcome and was helpful with advising us of places to eat in the local area,Our accomodation was outstanding and very comfortable, especially the deep bath. breakfast was good and it was very relaxing chatting to other guests at the table. keepers cottage is set In a beautiful location.

Keepers Cottage B&B Is a hidden gem. The proprietors are the most generous, warm, welcoming people you could ever wish to meet.They made us feel right at home in an instant. The rooms are beautiful and the countryside location is stunning. A great place. We will definitely return.

The welcome we recieved from Michael was fantastic,like we were old friends! The cottage was very tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable reflecting the hard work the owner has put into this quality bed and breakfast. The breakfast was outstanding possibly the largest we have ever eaten!We would definatley return.

Michael, the host was desperate to please us and succeeded - a very amenable host - welcoming us with a glass of wine, spacious well ordered accommodation - and a marvelous breakfast - we didn't need to eat again until dinner time!

This is an amazing place designed with great care and attention. We received a wonderful welcome sharing wine and dinner with our lovely host. My advice to others is don't look just book it's perfect.
