The brasserie offers good, wholesome food, simply served, and complemented by an extensive choice of wines, by the glass or by the bottle.
Table reservations are recommended and children are welcome.
The Lounge Bar offers a range of sandwiches, wraps, paninis, light meals and snacks throughout the day from 10:00 until 23:00. In addition to the bar menu, the blackboard offers daily specials and seasonal snacks.
Room service is available 24 hours a day, with hot meals available until 22:00.

The staff were extremely welcoming (particularly the lady with short hair and glasses on reception, nicky I think her name was) The free use of the internet on reception was handy. The gym/sauna/pool area was lovely and relaxed, staff were there to help but not intrusive. We had a courtesey call to check everything was ok with our room. The pillows were hard! |

We chose this hotel for an overnight stop on the basis of its location and price, and were not disappointed with either. It was easy to get to from the M1, with ample parking, friendly service, a lovely room and a freshly cooked breakfast. We will certainly stay here again if in the area. Cannot fault the breakfast, absolutely delicious, but would have liked to have at least been offered a second cup of coffee. |

In spite of the fact that the (new) TV was not working properly the assistant manager made every attempt to rectify the situation and satisfy us. Very good breakfast. |

The service was excellent, staff courteous and efficient, food very good, room clean and comfortable, location near to m1 vey good. Reception a bit mechanical and not very communicative. Selection of drinks in the bar did not have any cask conditioned beers. This area has a very good selection of local beers and I would have thought they could serve at least one. |

Near m1! Receptionist very unhelpful - our reservation had not been booked in and she never actually apoliogised or said that it was not a problem and that they did have a room. I had to actually ask her!! Would not stay again! |

It is pretty close to the airport, about a 5 minute drive, perfect if you have a car. We did not eat at the hotel because it was late, but breakfast was very nice and people very friendly. The beds are comfortable My rating on cleaniness has to do with the cups, when wanting to drink a cup of tea, the cups were absolutely filthy. |

Suitably placed for major shops in Derby,leicester and Notingham; Sheffield is about one hours drive away. Due to it's location the main road (A6) running along side it made the room noisy, even though a major airport is only10 mins drive away it was the traffic noise that was more prevelent. If you are Ok with traffic it's a good place tostay for anylenght of time. The published rates per room per night dear in my estimation (130), but internet searches brought this rate down quite considerably. Noise from main road |

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel in general and staff very attentive. It is well decorated and clean. I liked the outside bar area. Nice atmosphere and as my husband smokes it was good I thought our room on small side but could see others larger. The breakfast quality was very disappointing especially after a very enjoyable meal the evening before in the same restaurant. |
