The eggs are fresh free-range, hand-collected and supplied by a local farmer. Local home-made honey, jams and preserves are used.

Hotel staff were extremely kind helpful and generous. Delicious breakfast. Just felt the room could have done with a bit more attention, frayed towels a bit of a turn off! |

excellent facilities in room and service the single room was very small - in order to access the en suite facilities it was necessary to move the only chair in order to open the door. Perhaps a sliding door could be incorporated - I can't quite recall whether there is sufficient spare wall space to house it. Stairs could also pose a problem to those with mobility problems. |

The complimentary items - this made us feel very welcome It was situated next to a loud club and the window was single glazed. I got very little sleep due to the noise outside. |

Location next to pier. I stayed Tuesday night and my room overlooked the back of the building so it was quiet. My room was very small. |

The Landlady was extremely helpful and provided an excellent service. The room was spotless and the breakfast more than adequate. The decor in the room (particularly the ensuite) was in serious need of updating. The location was central but very very noisy at night. |

Staff were friendly and the decor of the room was nice. The hotel had a welcoming feel The food was terrible. The room was hot (at the top of the building) and the only ventilation was the window, which opened onto a very noisy street. The bed was very cheap and uncomfortable. Overall it was too pricey at £120 as I could have got a cheaper room. I expected better quality for what I paid |

The hotel was good value for money. Located near the peer of Brighton and near the center of Brighton. The room was nice and clean. Small points: noisy in the morning and an annoying shower. |

The breakfast was very good. I would not rate this hotel as a four star. Although we had a room with a 4 poster bed, the decoration was very tired and the furnishings, i.e. pelmet, curtains and dressings around the 4 poster, very dusty. The bathroom was not very clean & very basic. |

Location, location, location was the best element of our stay, very close to the seafront and the shops which were great and interesting. We liked the variety of eating options and the diversity. Parking was a nightmare and the mattress on the bed was awful. |

Please write at least 15 words the staff were very helpful and tried hard to make our stay good. It was very noisy outside until about 3am each night we were there. The windows were not double glazed and didn't shut tightly.parking was also a problem. Had to park two streets away + also had a parking ticket. |

The hotel catered for all our basic needs,the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast excellent and plentiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this to others. |

Pleasant stay, but put off by the size of room allocated. I asked for a different larger room but none available on either night, even though i had booked some two months in advance. This guest house is sufficient for a short stay. Our double room was extremely small, as was the ensuite. Staff were courtious and efficient. Breakfast was to a good standard. |

central ideal for beach, shops and restaurants. Comfortable room. Chocs on pillow were nice touch Lovely breakfast. Our room looked out onto what could have been a lovely garden, somewhere to sit and have a coffee and enjoy the sunshine, but unfortunately it was a bit of a building site . Only got chocs on pillow first night! |
