Beautiful room with plenty of natural light, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, free wi-fi and parking, good location as walking distance to town and beach without the noise of the seafront. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The towels were good. Tea / coffee / chocolate well stocked.Bed comfortable.Food at breakfast was good. First of all , it isn,t a hotel. It is a bed and breakfast and as such was mis-sold.and over priced. The bedroom we had was cramped. To get a suitcase from the door to the wardrobe it had to be lifted over the corner of the bed as there isn,t sufficient space between the bed and the wall to get it round. The shower head and hose were dirty. The tv had poor reception, even after we had mended the broken aerial lead. The 1 hour allowed for breakfast was a bit inflexible and the good food was not matched by the bunker-like room, scruffy furniture and allocated tables. There are 14 rooms and 6 car parking spaces. If we had paid £60 a night it would have been ok but at £80 it isn't .

Very friendly clean plenty of choice for breakfast and well cooked. Good Location for beach and brilliant bus service to all parts of the island. We thought the twin room was a bit on the small side not a lot of room to move about.

We found the staff excellent and very friendly. The breakfast menu provided many choices. The cooked breakfast was always served on hot plates. We enjoyed the bar facility every night. It was much more pleasant than sitting in your room. I would recommend it to anyone. The Kenbury is also in walking distance of the beach and the main shopping street.

A lovely B & B with very nice owners/staff and excellent breakfasts. There were bottles of water and fresh milk in your room together with plenty of tea and coffee. The B & B was within 5 minutes walking of the town centre and local restaurants. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Tops on our list:The cocoa+cookies in our room when we would come back late afternoon after a day's sightseeing of the island. A close second, the very cheerful Alice and Rachel in the Breakfast room and what a sumptuous buffet and menu to choose from. Recommendation to visitors to IOW - buy the bus pass (we bought the unlimited 7-day pass for UKL22) a real bargain for the tours and transportation on the island. For non-British visitors we recommend walking in the neighborhoods and peeking into those marvelous flowering English gardens. Have at least one Pub lunch, and at least one "Tea", one of them a must in the Old Village of Shanklin. Nothing - it was perfect - we hated to leave.
