Just wanted a quick swim, but you had to pay, I thought it was free
The location very good for our business trip, staff very helpful,
The standard room are not worth the money, compared to the deluxe, will book deluxe again next year ! We had no towels, a toilet roll, tea and coffee was down to minimum, no menus for room service shower space really small and didn't think the bathroom was overly clean.
Facilities and Cleanlines
The Room was an executive double - so small for the price compared to a previous stay. Also despite it being confirmed twice by the staff that use of the pool was free with the room booked when I went to use the pool I was asked to pay.
Location, The service,
rooms very small for the cost. a bit dissapointed.
Nice hotel however the room was very small and word down and old! Was NOTHINg like the pictures which was the ONLY reason we booked!! Very disappointed!
It was very close to Kensington high st & tube, only a 5 min walk away. It was very comfortable and there were plenty of Taxies outside when needed. Have stayed there before & will again.
LOCATION WAS VERY GOOD STAFF GREAT COULD LEAVE LUGGAGE NO PROBLEM ROOM SMALL BUT COMFORTABLE WOULD STAY AGAIN
FOOD AND DRINKS ABIT PRICEY
The fact it was my boyfriends birthday and he received a little desert treat saying happy birthday. The fact we reported an issue with the TV and the maintenance team were quick to solve it. Great Location for everything - Right next to the Tube Station.
There was an issue with TV when we arrived.
Location, nice clean well finished room (small but that's London) and friendly staff
No free wifi - even in the lobby bar!
Fare is fair
Breakfast is not so good
My room this time was no where near the same standard as my room only a couple of weeks previously. I booked a superior room, the room this time was not superior. Shame .
Friendly Staff, Lounge/Bar area.
Tiny bedroom, leaking shower, shower curtain too small hence water went everywhere. Duvets too small for beds, not sumptuous. Single duvets only suitable for children not large adults !! Not informed about new system of paying for pool and facilities which was very expensive for 2 hours!!!! Breakfast very expensive for dried up food and staff not trained to bring cutlery, milk jugs for coffee and tea to table etc!! Very disappointed with facilities this time !! I have been staying here for years, but makeover not worth all the extra money !!
The facilities and breakfast were wonderful, staff were helpful
That we got Checked intoo the wrong room standard when we booked Excutive club suite.
vicinity/ area /location perfect breakfast
wee bit over priced Club room didn't offer refreshment's as per other hotels we have stayed in recently. smallish rooms
Room was very small
Great location for Kensington High St and the tube. Comfortable beds and clean rooms
The fact that the WiFi wasn't free was a major let-down. The £8 charge to use the pool was also pretty mean. The staff in the bar were extremely rude (tall man with glasses especially) I hope they don't work for tips!
Breakfast set us up for the day. So much choice, all nicely presented and well cooked. Doorman was very handsome in his uniform and very tasty like the breakfast. Leisure centre well equipped, best Jacuzzi I've been in. Beds were comfortable.
the standard twin room too small as was the space for the sink in the bathroom. Tap got in the way. Felt claustrophobic in there. Extractor fan took 1 hour to stop after light was turned off (room 755) couldn't inform reception on departure as only 2 girls on desk and queue too long for us to wait.
The room was cold. The mattress was actually resting. Spacious room.
The room was freezing. The staff was absolutely uninterested, at 1330 a clear: sorry, room available only at 1400, come back then. Never felt so unwelcome. Completely unflexible in regards to the booking, which was far too expensive for the service received.
Old worn out furniture and fittings. Noise from adjoining rooms and road traffic.
No free internet
Compact comfortable room. Good safe location, close to a train station and Kensington gardens and Hyde park.
Excellent location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and had a safe which was helpful and tea and coffee facilities. Kensington is a lovely area with excellent parks eating places and pubs. Thoroughly recommended.
Location is perfect (tube around the corner), coffee in room
Doors slamming at night, very small room, double bed too small for two
