At det var tak over hodet :-) Men prisen harmonterte greit med standarden. Men bare nesten...

"Frokostsalen" lite og svært enkel. Lite matutvalg. Frokostrommet var I dårlig forfatning/forfallent. Mest av alt fanget en stor tv som hang på veggen oppmerksomheten. Der ble det spilt discomusikk på full guffe. Lite behagelig og svært lite !!!

Jeg likte at hotellet ikke lå så langt fra hotellet. Personalet var hyggelige.

Rommet var lite. Det lignet ikke på bildene. Det var ikke toalett på rommet. Det var ikke english breakfast i form av egg og bacon etc. Vi fikk kun toast med syltetøy og cornflakes.

Nothing, fantastic hotel.

The fantastic friendly and helpful staff, who greeted us each time we left and entered the hotel and seemed genuinely interested in what we had been doing and what we had planned. They provided us with helpful info about places to go and how to get there. They booked taxis, brought us up early breakfast when we had to go out before the breakfast room opened, helped us carrying our bags and looked after them while we went to Paris. Genuine and customer service focused. Made the stay really pleasant.Something that was missing from some of the more upmarket places we stayed in...The location was also terrific - a short walk from 3 underground stations and the delightful Portobello Rd a short distance away. Great cafes, restaurants and shopping at your doorstep. Kensington Park also 5 minutes away - grab a hire bike, or loll in the deckchairs with an ice cream!!

Had to keep asking staff to top up tea and milk supplies. On our second stay the room had no reading lamp. Okay - its not the Ritz - but the beds are clean and comfy, there are ensuite bathrooms, great location and staff are brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Nothing at all... This place is lucky to pass as a very bad hostel, they are misleading people by calling themselves a hotel.

Do not stay here, even if its cheap. We went in with very low expectations based on reviews, we're normally very tolerant but our poor expectations were by far exceeded after they lost our booking, made us wait an hour to sort it out, put us in a room up 6 flights of stairs even though we had our 2 years worth of luggage with us, gave us a "double" bed which was clearly a large single bed with a doona tucked on it to make it look wider, the room was tiny... We could just open the door (don't trust the photos), manager was very rude, the breakfast was average and the toilets were pretty disgusting... No floor mats and no basin in the toilet, and no secure luggage storage to top it off.

I don't wanna mention because the receptionist was so good for us, but I would be a lier unless saying that 1) too noisy to get good sleep, which was caused by an upper room where a couple sounded into hard battle, 2) poor facility especially in the shower, getting some water leaked from the tube and 3) no hair dryer, which made us give up washing hair duaring our trip in London.

the price was good, and the location very good as well. staff friendly and helpful. spacious room, warm and clean. very quiet

Really helpful staff, nice and friendly. Free wifi. The building is really old and stinking, but for £45 per night for 2 people stay, including breakfast - i'd say a bargain.

Paper walls - you can hear your neighbors whispering.

The bed was comfortable and the price was very reasonable.

Window in bedroom didn't close so we slept in a draught all night. The door didn't fit properly and had gaps around it. As we were at the bottom of the stairs on the way to the dining room, people were coming past all the time and we could hear them as if they were in the room. It didn't feel very private. People were making tea in the dining room in the night and talking loudly. The bathroom was tiny, had to sit sideways on the toilet as there was no room. The tiles were all broken and filled with messy patches of grout, the whole thing needs re- tiling. There were bins blocking the fire exit. We asked for another room with a window that closed and To get to the other room (which was horrible) we had to go past piles of laundry. These two rooms in the basement should not be used as hotel rooms, they should be used as storage as they are not suitable for anyone to stay in. We would not stay in this hotel again.

The receptionist staff are very friendly including the blond girl from morning till the owner are very helpful and caring about your stay, breakfast are good not a full english breakfast but good! Thanks for good care service provided.

Friendly people, very very clean, very organised and new.

It is relatively close to where we intend to visit. The room is clean with all basic equips, tv set, washing basin, closet.

Next door of ours use drugs as the stinky smell stays in the corridor.

The location was excellent! We could get around London's major sites very easily. The continental breakfast was ok.

Though it was very budget friendly, the toilet and shower room was very cold. The shower was very difficult to adjust to the right tempreature. The noise of other rooms were quite big.

My husband and I were in London to visit our children and they had booked us here for one night. We had such a lovely time, that we will definitely be returning again. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were in a room, which had a view of the back yard, but was very clean, newly refurbished and quiet. Breakfast is continental with a wide choice of pastries. The staff are very easy going, always willing to help. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

There wasn't anything that we weren't happy with.

The staff was friendly. Wifi was better than expected. Great restaurants nearby! Size of the room.

Slightly cold in the room due to a leaking window. Water got cold quite quickly.

Had a very good night's sleep. Extremely comfortable beds, albeit small rooms. The staff are very friendly and the owner gave us an interesting insight into the history of the building. Good breakfast, lots of choice and a very relaxed atmosphere in general.

Fantastic location and excellent value for money. You really do get what you pay for, if not more. The reception staff were amazing at suggesting things to do and places to eat in the area. Wifi access is very fast, considering the hotel was very busy when we stayed there. Continental breakfast is part of the price and it includes a wide choice of pastries, pancakes and a variety of breads. Very filling and hearty! Were we in London for a show for one night and our stay at the hotel just added to a great overall experience. Would definitely return again!!

The stairs give you a bit of a workout.

Was in London for work and got this as a last minute deal. Was welcomed by very nice receptionist, chatted about the area and the building itself, as it's full of character. Had free wifi access and breakfast was included in the price. Would definitely stay here gain.

Very good location, with three tube stations nearby. Staff were so helpful, they provide local restaurant information and tended to my requests promptly. Very goodvalue for money!

The heater was not working while it was snowing outside. I was told free wifi one of the reasons I booked this hotel, wifi was not working and was given no discount for that. The room was bad in a basement and shower was so dirty I dint even have one during my stay. It was cramped and not at all value for money
