Location Cleanliness Friendliness of staff
Noise from the street (noise from the underground is OK - but noise from the street was really bad). The room was on the ground floor with other guests opening/closing the main door loudly disturbing our sleep.
situated very close to Earls Court station so very convenient to all facilities ...shops bars etc. Our apartment was on ground level so the street lighting was quite strong through the blinds...Upside could easily see to use bathroom in middle of night.
Our apartment was on ground floor so street lighting was quite strong through the blinds. Upside it was easy to use the bathroom in middle of the night but maybe blackout blinds would be good. The apartment was much smaller than impression on website but adequate for one night stopover.
Very nice bedroom with comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Good location just next to tube station.
The apartments were great, really clean and nice decorated and perfect for what we wanted. They were located within easy distance of Paddington where our train came into and easy access from the Underground. Really good value apartments if you have children offering flexible eating & sleeping arrangements. Fab. BUT......
The noise from the underground is too much, 0500-0000 continuously ! It didn't disturb our girls as they were exhausted but we as adults struggled !!! Partiticularly when one night after the trains stopped, the track work started !!!!! Drilling, hammering etc - We did laugh. Nothing can be done about this obviously ( maybe triple glazing ) but it is a major consideration when booking. We hadsa great time none the less !
It was really clean and preserved.
Railroads next to the building.
Location and interior of the room.
The noise of the tube. Not just noise, but the vibrations. This was a bad surprise. Especially, when we had the studio in the basement. Would not go there anymore bcz. of that.
So close to tube Probably not large enough for 3
On ground floor so couldn't leave window open Noisy, busy, construction site by front door Room near front door so noisy- difficult to call it an apartment Rooms not ready on arrival so at 10pm tried to find representative by phone who had to get linen for the beds, etc
staff very helpful
the noise of the tube. Shower was poor quality
HORRIBLE MISTAKE !!! - that we did not read the reviews before booking this place. Firstly, the room if suitable at all, is for 1 person and not for 3 - SO MISLEADING !! We had to take turns to open up our luggage cos there was no space . The sofa bed and our bed was stuck side by side & I could touch the fridge, cooker etc by stretching out my hand from the bed!! The bathroom was so small , you can't even bend properly to wash your face at the basin. The room was stuffy and yes, the noise from the trains from 5am till almost midnight every few seconds will drive anyone crazy!! The train tracks is like just outside your window above your bed. They shouldn't sell this place as it's not " liveable " DON'T stay here if you know what's good for u!
The location of the flat was close to most amenities as well as to the underground.
We were left waiting for more than 20 mins on arrival.Flat in the basement below street level making it very uncomfortable to sleep with the in noise.Made us feel unsafe when people went down the outside stairs as early as 3 in the morning. Kitchen sink in the corner made it next to impossible to use.Towels changed just once in a week.Floor never washed.Sofa bed was a challenge to close.Bath tub was quite high which made it quite unsafe and prone to being slippery. The sink was so small it made the water overflow.
Decent size room.
Tube line is right outside and really loud. Can only sleep between 2am and 5am. Shower door didnt close, reported it twice they didnt fix, the shower head support was broken. The turndown was just making the bed, rubbish was left, towels not changed bathroom not cleaned. Only get this if it is really cheap and your have no choice.
Too noisey as the room was on the lower ground floor. Bed is too low n too soft. Sofa bed is thin and very poor. One can feel the spring. Water from the shower head flows badly. Why must the reception on the 4th floor? Luggage Strorage was in a very small, tight and improper room on the lower ground floor. Without porter ti carry the luggages, it was really aweful.
Everything we needed was there and a few small but nice restaurants right outside the front door. The price was good around 600 for 4 nights.
The tiles in the bathroom were cracked with sharp edges on the walls easy to avoid as an adult though, frying pan was useless and too small, appartment was smaller than expected but hey that's London for you
Very nice staff, great location.
Even considering its great location, it was pricey.
If you are bound for Earls Court then the location is great, near the tube and high street with bars and shops. Just remember to pack some earplugs! The staff were polite. On day of departure I was able to leave my bag at the at the premises and collect it later.
The stair carpet was grubby and a trip hazard. The room was inexplicably hot. I visited in September and yet I was dripping with sweat in the room. There was no air conditioning but a fan was supplied. The building literally backs onto rail lines, that are in use day and night, so opening the window for some fresh air made it impossible to sleep soundly due to the noise. While I did not have a problem with the room itself the bathroom was entirely a different matter. The toilet seat was loose, the shelf above the sink rickety and something had obviously fell off it previously as the sink had a huge crack in it. The shower cubicle door did not close properly and the shower head could not be adjusted for angle or height, when lifted it just dropped down again. This meant the only way to shower was to squat down on your haunches with your backside pushed against the door to keep it closed.
Very close to Earl's Court Station. Convinient to go to Supermarket and the kitchen is fully equipped.
Too noisy if the train passing through. The room is too hot and the air circulation is not good.
it was clean and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful
the noise from the undergound which is practically 24 hours, did not make for a sound nights sleep. also the tv reception was not good, kept pixellating.
Good layout, very clean.
Train noise and heat. Fan provided, which we had to keep on all night. Really stuffy, exacerbated by the fact we could only open the window when the trains stopped between 12.30 and 5 am. Really loud and rattly. Bed dipped alarmingly in the middle.
Location was close to station and handy to everything. Comfortable apartment.
The room they gave us was in the basement, below street level which made it very noisy and hot.
The Worst part is the gets very Hot by 12
Nothing at all
Train disturbance every minute Broken bed
Extremely loud noise from the tube, no lift, the bathroom is very small and the shower didnt drain well, no chairs and dining table. No anything near what I expected.
Bad place, dirty very dirty, bad reception called ,Kobra, impolite and not profition. Too much noise, even the cleaning was dirty????I hate it
No towels no bathroom cleaning nothing was good it deserve less than I paid , the reception should be better(Kobrah)
Proximity to amenities
Proximity to tube line. Not aware of noise issues until booking complete. Very misleading!
Location - plenty of shops & restaurants / cafes nearby and very close to Earls Court tube station. You do hear the tube but we didn't mind it. Clean bed linen and towels - bed comfort was ok. Good fridge freezer. Suitable crockery / cutlery / saucepans etc. for you to use whilst you're there.
Wooden slatted blinds did not fit windows and were broken in places - we were on ground floor so people can see in through gaps. Also did not block any light out. Room was very, very hot (August). There was one rubbish (and dirty) fan to keep us cool. Had to keep the sash windows open at night but noise from street (lots of chatter from taxi rank immediately outside, cars, & bin men) kept us awake - the bed is right next to the window. Had to buy earplugs as we were right next to the banging front door too. Kettle lid was broken and hardly any space to prepare food on worktop or to wash up - not a problem if you won't be eating much in your room, a huge problem if you do plan on eating meals there. Under the bed was quite dirty. Discovered this when fan blew it all out.
