Kensington Hotel  

the bathroom was to small you could not turn round in it and hurt yourself on the door handle as it was that tight for space

We were given room 22, second floor with sea view. It was clean and tidy and had been refurbished recently. The bathroom had also been refurbished and was top class, with a walk in shower and no problems with hot water during our stay here. The young lady on reception was most helpful and she was more than happy to give out local information when we asked. We stayed bed and breakfast and could not fault the quality of the food and the staff were most attentive. The bar was fine for a nightcap and not really any more expensive than the bars in town. The kensington is located on the main seafront and is within walking distance of all the amenieties in Llandudno

Good location with easy car parking not the most luxurious hotel but ideal for our stay and would have no hesitation returning again

The hotel was to hot, even with our room radiators switched off on thermosataic valve it was hot

The hotel which appears to have been newly refurbished was very clean and tidy. The bedroom,which had a sea view was well appointed and very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the costs of extras, ie evening meals and drinks were reasonably priced. Breakfast was of an excellent quality and plentiful for ourselves. There was ample and easily accessible car parking attached to the hotel The weekend that we were there there was a coach party staying at the hotel and entertainment was provided. The entertainment was very good

The check in staff were very pleasant as were all the staff we met. The hotel was being renovated and completion is the end of the year. The bathroom was lovely newly tiled and new suite fitted however the rest of the room had not been refitted. The beige carpet had dirty stains on it and the furniture was tired,the bed was passed its sell by date and had a stain on the throw. We didnt complain about the room because we were only there for two nights however now i think that we should have had a word with them and given them a chance to put things right. I did peek into one of the renovated rooms and i have to say that they are lovely we however didnt get the chance to stay in one.

It was a nice hotel value for money and an ideal location.It was obvious that renervations were in progress although they did'nt bother us at all.It would be interesting to view when they were finished. We did not have dinner at the hotel but breakfast was fine.

The staff were really friendly, breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean, with lovely fresh bedding. Rooms were cleaned very promptly. Having a car park is brilliant. The shower was really powerful.

The rooms were very hot and airless when we arrived. The bathroom was quite basic and could have done with a grab handle in the bath/shower. Slight odour of ammonia in the bathroom. Carpet stained in the bedroom.

Free parking, lovely staff, especially Samantha on Reception. Nothing too much trouble for her, always polite and cheerful an asset to the hotel.

The hotel was very clean despite renovation work to update the rooms. The staff especially Samantha were very welcoming. We had a lovely room with a 'proper' sea view! We had a very nice breakfast. The hotel is very convenient for The Venue Arena and has a good selection of shops nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return for a longer stay!

Good value hotel on sea front , large car park definately a bonus in llandudno would go to hotel again.

Would be nice not to vacate room till eleven instead of ten

Pleasant staff,cleanliness and comfortable

The hotel receptionist was really lovely. It is in a fantastic location right on the sea front.

We were very disappointed with our room. It was nothing like the photos we saw. There was only 1 sachet of coffee on arrival and so I don't think they had been replenished from the previous occupant. Furthermore, we only had one bath towel, and hand towel between us, which meant we had to share. There was a grubby stain on the lampshade and the bulb popped out of the top. The television kept turning itself off. The view from the window was very diasappointing of the car park and back of the retail park. A sea front room would have been lovely. If we were staying for more than one night we would have asked to change rooms, however, we tried to stay out of it as much as possible.
