The hotel was very welcoming when we arrived, it has a sweet little front terrace which was nice to sit in whilst planning our afternoon. The hotel was very clean and receptionist polite. The room was small but this was to be expected based on reading the reviews, it is a base to go into London from in a nice quite street. The only comment I would make is the blinds are white and so the sun beaming in through the window woke us up at 6am, perhaps we are used to black out blinds at home. But thank you for a pleasant stay.

The location is great and the tube is very near. It's a surprisingly nice area that is a pleasant place to be own its own right. The staff couldn't have been nicer and friendlier.I suppose that although it seemed rather expensive it's about the law of supply and demand:it was high season and we were lucky to find the place at such short notice. But I would go back, definitely. Any chance of some discount?

Location is fine, few minutes walk from tube station Kensington West (and Olympia, in case you miss notice the train final station), all weekend and 24 hour opened grocery store on the way to the station. Staff was helpful and friendly all the time, rooms were clean and pretty. Although we were 5 adult or adolescent people (a family trip), the 5 bed room was fine; not any abundant space, anyway good for the purpose (site seeing). We arrived before midnight and there was not any problem. Being not Brittish, we experienced the lack of wall sockets - there is one more on the mirror in the bathroom - with US/standardEU size. Extra bonus is a free coffee/caccao automat in the reception- great point. The space is very limited, also in corridors, however it doesnt downgrade the pretty impression from the hotel, I recommend it to the family, being close together - we had a fun here and nothing spoilt it.

It was very clean and the location was good for visiting our son We would like to stay at Kensington West more frequently but as we are semi-retired we cannot afford the price of it too often. It would be nice if there were offers or reduction for booking in advance

It was great that all 6 of us could share one room - very sociable. The price was exceptional. Cheap and cheerful. Clean and practical. I didn't realise that breakfast was not served in a breakfast room and had to be collected from reception and eaten in our bed room. Had I known this we would have gone out for breakfast.

Its location was perfect, only 500m from the Olympia conference centre. In all fairness, its 2 star, so you more or less get what you pay for: Hairballs in the drain, no mats in the bathroom/bath. The room so small you couldn't swing the proverbial cat. Coffee from a machine downstairs, no breakfast option to eat in, etc. But overall acceptable if you use it as a pure sleeping hotel, as we did....

Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and tidy throughout including room and bathroom. Excellent location and excellent value for money. Nothing really the hotel served its purpose for providing a cost effective place to stay. The room was small and not really designed for larger people.

Mr nall did not like the kensington west because the room he was shown to at first was a single room which had a single bed and set of bunk beds not ideal for a single man then he was upgraded to a double room of which he had to pay an extra 15.00 per night which he was disgusted with .

We enjoyed that Kensington West is close to the city center and that the rooms were worth the money. It would be nice to have a room for breakfast but the pupils enjoyed having breakfast in their rooms. So it was okay. The single rooms are quite small - typical English building.

It values the money because of the great location. It is tinny and the breakfast doesn't worth the value (it is a bag (yes, a bag) with a terrible croissant and muffin, an awful juice and yogurt and that is it).

It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly and fairly helpful. It was noisy and my shower was cold both days. When I mentioned it to staff after the first day, they were unable to put it right. But generally, the hotel was as you'd expect for £75 per night in central London.

Good location and helpful staff. Comfortable and quiet room. It was a mistake to order the continental breakfast. All packaged food and probably a 1000 calories. Only england could consider it a continental breakfast.
