Kensington Rooms Hotel

The beds were comfortable, the staff were helpful, and the location was great (close to gloucester road tube station). There was also a nice selection for breakfast.

The rooms were were quite small even though I booked a double room. The bathroom was tiny, the toilet was squeezed in the corner of the bathroom, next to the shower, it'd be difficult for anyone who was quite big. The signal on the tv was also very poor.

room quality. always good. never disturbed by maids while having my lie in. stayed here before, and will stay here again.location is perfect, no outside noise.

Shower was broken and staff did not repair it.

It is a nice, comfortable hotel, with quite spacious rooms. I stayed in a triple room with two friends and it wasn't at all cramped.

I would have liked a more extensive selection at breakfast but it was quite cheap with breakfast included.

yes the way of pre-payment without my authorisation. when i arrived at the hotel i undestood that my money has been used without my permision.....

original booking was for superior triple room , on arrival we were given a double room with a sofa bed. All foreign staff and some very unfriendly. No atmosphere in the bar with poorly stocked bar. Dingy in places.

the attitude of the staff not willing to help the guest has to help the staff and not the other way around. strange!!!

I enjoyed my stay from the time I arrived and was greeted by extremely pleasant and courteous staff. I had requested a quiet room and this is exactly what I was given. Despite being a single room the bed was large and very spacious. Breakfast was really good in nice fresh rooms on the lower ground floor. Being able to leave my luggage for a whole day after I booked out was a real bonus for me as I was able to go shopping in the city. There is a great underground stop just two short blocks from the hotel that operated the Circle, District and Piccadilly Lines which were perfect for my destinations including a direct journey to Kings Cross for my return journey home. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room size was excellent with high floor to ceiling. Heating of the room was good. The location of the hotel is excellent/near by tube station. Breakfast was reasonable for the price that was piad for. Friendly staff.

The corridor carpets / upstairs didn`t smell right. No slippers for bathroom wear.

Friendly staff and a very smart, attractive reception area. With some nice big and colourful fish swimming around in a large tank, it felt ultra modern as I arrived through the doors. The staff were extremely helpful in directing me to the venue I was attending later that evening.

Once you left reception, the lift was slightly shabby, the carpets needed to have a face lift and the room was like walking in to a small cupboard - very little space to move around. Had a window on to the main street and it was noisey through the amount of traffic. However for what I needed, a room for the night, it was fine.

Everything was clean and pleasant. Wish we had more time to enjoy the bar and lounge plus the near by restaurants.

We unfortunately looked out onto a brick wall but i suppose in London this is innevitable.
