Really enjoyed staying at this quaint clean friendly comfortable & value for money hotel

Friendly and welcoming staff.

Relaxing and friendly

The staff were lovely. Alan was extremely helpful and gave us a very warm welcome, he was a jack of all trades, reception, waiter, barman and plumber.

I don't want to put people off this hotel it really is a lovely friendly hotel. The only thing that did bug me was that it could do with a real deep clean - the cleanliness overall was very good but little things like a really good Hoover on the stairs.

The staff were firendly and attentive but not in your face, which was good. I woudl especially like to say thank you for them returning my necklace, that was excellent service

rooms are tired, whole hotel felt tired. We didnt like the bathroom very very small and having then the hand sink in the bedroon next to your head when in bed didnt like at all

We loved the hotel staff they are very kind people and very attentive. We liked the location and cleanliness.The food was excellent. We had plenty of time for breakfast because unlike other hotels here we can do check out the 11 o'clock. We will definitely return to the Kensington Hotel.

Just the Wi-Fi connection was a bit poor.

This hotel is on the up ! we really enjoyed our stay. Key for this was the staff who are excellent. They are a young team but certainly competent. The facilities are really good and as a one night stay it was great. Breakfast is very good and the dining room is very well furnished.

We were in a top floor room that was clean, tidy and also good quality. However the constany noise of the header tanks in the roof for the water are really annoying. You cannot rest or sleep once that starts

The dinner and bar food offered was nice and they had a very good range of food for a b+b. Excellent friendly and helpful staff.

The shower was a bit lame although, it was nice and hot.

Small DIY issue in the bathroom

We only stayed one night unfortunately as the whole experience was excellent. We stayed in a superior double room which overlooked the sea and the waterways. Would definately do again.

A lot of stairs, and the lift only goes to the first floor.

The breakfast was superb, the staff were friendly and helpful, the Hotel was nice quiet and very relaxing, room was lovely, sea view. bed very comfortable.towels were very good quality.Room nice and warm.very pleasant stay.No negatives.

The staff was so friendly and very helpful they made u feel welcome the breakfast meals was very nice with loads of different choices and the evening meals where lovely with loads of choices as well the rooms were beautiful and I wud recommend to everyone to stay a nice run family hotel brilliant I loved every minute there will b definitely going back
