The staff and food were excellent, side room was very comfortable but still looked onto the sea which was lovely. The breakfast and afternoon tea was superb, made more enjoyable served by very cheerful, polite young staff which really makes a holiday. Coming out of the main entrance doors you are 10 seconds away from the beach, location of hotel was great as it was not too near the noisy end of Yarmouth with all the amusements. Nice little side carpark also provided. Room was spotless, tv / dvd player provided also access to the internet. We hope to return next year. Wish we could have had a week there, but alas 3 days was our limit, so coming home was the worst part.

The Hotel was only a ten min walk from the town center, we booked a double superior with a sea view, but road noise is a problem in the mornings The room we stayed in was very small and dated, the hotel lacked atmosphere and was dissapointed with the service at breakfast time, I do not think it is the best for value in Gt. Yarmouth

The staff were all excellent. Very polite and could not do enough for you. The food ( breakfast and dinner) were very well presented and of good quality. Did not have a specific children's menu but would do smaller portions of any dish. Family room a reasonable size. All bedding and towels were clean crisp and spotless. The hotel could have benifited from a major clean. Carpets were a little on the dirty side. Decor in family room in need of a facelift.

The Kensington was a stylish but older hotel. The staff were very friendly and were helpful with any needs you required. All you had to do was ask! Breakfast was really nice, cooked great, tasted lovely and came quickly. Servers were very prompt on requests, e.g. more tea/coffee or toast. Luggage space was limited, thankfully we had an extra bed in our room so we used that to store our luggage on.

I thought that the staff were very warm and helpful. The other guests were also very happy and warm also. The dining area was very well laid out and a nice area to be in and the food although we only had breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The only criticism i can have is our room was very basic for the price paid but do realise that we were last minute booking. The room was very clean but the bed was quite small and the hot water took a long while to heat up but they are very minor details. The main thing i would address is to compare the room we were in to the other rooms which we did not see and then maybe address the pricing structure. We would definately come again but would look at the more superior rooms for our future stay.

As soon as I arrived and checked in, I was offered a pot of tea at no charge, which was a lovely touch and it arrived very quickly! It was very warm in the room as the heating was on high and I struggled to get to the valve due to the bed and wardrobe. As soon as I touched the toilet roll the holder fell off the wall due to no screw. The bar prices were very treasonable and not typical rip off hotel prices. Breakfast was excellent and the staff could not do enough for you. Would definitely stay again. Thankyou

Staff were polite and very good at their job. Had an evening meal which was excellent, even though there was a function on, the waiter staff didn't keep us waiting for food and the meal was excellent. Will be back again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was of a really high standard and very plentiful. The rooms were clean & comfortablle, with all the expected facilities. They even brought forward the breakfast start time to accommodate my needs. I was staying on a business trip and there was not enough work space to set up and work on my laptop in the evenings. I had to do this sitting on the bed - but nothing too serious.

the only reason we would not stay at this hotel again is the size of the double ! room.I t was a single room with a double bed in. my wife and I had to shuffle to get past each other, the room was so small we couldnt even unpack our suitcase without putting it on the bed and my wife then had to stand to one side. When my wife mentioned this to one of the owners she was told it was larger than average!!!! and as a guest house the rooms are smaller than a hotel, she gorgot to mention that this establishment is registered as the KENSINGTON HOTEL !

The smiley friendly faces of people eager to help but not exaggerated. The Health and Safety issue over not being able to pour our own coffee, but use everything else. However their hands are tied on this I guess.

The Staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. The Drinks at the bar were reasonable for a hotel. The breakfast was of good quality. The Room was very clean. The location of the hotel was ideal being within walking distance to the amusements and pier but in a quiet area. The roast pork evening meal was rather bland and the portions small. The pork and apple burger was dry.
