Tastefully decorated and refurbished, The Kensington has a bar, popular restaurant and rooms with private bathrooms. The hotel is in an ideal location on the seafront, a short walk from Britannia Pier. All bedrooms at The Kensington are individually designed and furnished to offer maximum comfort. Many rooms have superb sea views and all have TV, tea/coffee and include a superb full English breakfast. All first-floor public areas have free Wi-Fi access, as do some bedrooms. The staff and food were excellent, side room was very comfortable but still looked onto the sea which was lovely. The breakfast and afternoon tea was superb, made more enjoyable served by very cheerful, polite young staff which really makes a holiday. Coming out of the main entrance doors you are 10 seconds away from the beach, location of hotel was great as it was not too near the noisy end of Yarmouth with all the amusements. Nice little side carpark also provided. Room was spotless, tv / dvd player provided also access to the internet. We hope to return next year. Wish we could have had a week there, but alas 3 days was our limit, so coming home was the worst part.

The staff at the Kensington are phenomenal. A truly warm and welcoming team. The room which I stated in was rather small however as a base to stay it was spot on. I stayed for one evening however if I was to stay again I would opt for a larger room. Having returned for an evening with friends the bar staff were still working and wee able to accommodate a few light snacks, which truly was a kind and attentive gesture. I would highly recommend the Kensington The staff truly do make the experience one of pleasure

I booked The Kensington Hotel for my Boyfriend's Birthday and we went away for a long weekend. I thought the hotel was beautiful. Our room had a seafront view which was lovely. The room was nicely decorated with all facilities available. Ive found in some reviews, guests have complained about the shower not being very powerful. Frankly, I think they may have not known how the shower worked, because ours was great! The bed was so comfortable and the heating in our room worked nicely. As for the staff, I have never met such genuinely lovely people. They made our stay really nice and comfortable.Every staff member were so polite and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was great, with a wide variety. Definately kept me full until the late afternoon anyway! The hotel is only a short walk to the amusements, restaurants, clubs, shops etc. I quite liked the location of the hotel, because it's nicely tucked away from the noisiness of the strip, but not too far a walk. I literally cannot say anything negative about our stay, I had a wonderful time at The Kensington and I will definately be returning in the future. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it's well priced, beautiful, great location and very welcoming! Thank you!

It was a lovely clean hotel. We found it very disturbing being woken up at 2 in the morning to a couple having a screaming match. Also it took the hotel staff an hour to throw them out! No phone was avalible in the room to be able to contact a member of staff. therefore we just had to wait n see if anyone would turn up

Friendly welcoming staff, ready to help at all times. The hotel faced the sea and was only a short walk to the main attractions. Excellent breakfast served by the staff, something that is becoming more of a rarity nowadays. Well done. The room was not the largest but quite adequate. Just a minor point.

We were greeted with a very welcome complimentary pot of coffee and home made cake. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally efficient; nothing was a problem to them. The breakfast was excellent and we decided to eat at The Kensington on our second night.... outstanding food. Thanks to all for a great stay, they even managed to arrange for the sun to shine the whole time we were there!!

Staff were excellent, great atmosphere. Entertainment was good. The number of return visitors present on our stay is a testimony to the running of the hotel. A high percentage of OAPs on our visit but not 1 moan about anything. Bar prices very good.
