Kentmere Guest House76 Cheriton Rd, CT20 1DG Folkestone (Show map) Very good, Score from 27 reviews“The hotel was convenient for an overnight stop. It was great that as a family of 5 we could all stay in one room. The continental breakfast included in the price was excellent with good variety. (A cooked option was available at extra cost) The owner was very friendly. The location was within walking distance of eating places. The room was spotlessly clean.”

The hotel was convenient for an overnight stop. It was great that as a family of 5 we could all stay in one room. The continental breakfast included in the price was excellent with good variety. (A cooked option was available at extra cost) The owner was very friendly. The location was within walking distance of eating places. The room was spotlessly clean. More of an observation than a complaint - you have to be prepared to park your car on the street which was very busy, we were lucky to get a space. Also the extra bed for the fifth person was a bit uncomfortable.

Very friendly host. Pretty house. Rooms are small and staircases steep - but I could have stayed more than one night. Ideal for last night before Channel crossing from.

We were greeting warmly upon arrival and helped to our room, which was a nice touch and made us feel welcome. The B&B was perfectly located for trips around the Kentish coast, and during our 3 day stay we visited Dover, Hythe and Deal. Great location but Folkstone is a bit run down. Also, the cooked breakfast was very nice. The bathroom was small and cramped and the shower wasn't very powerful.

The Kentmere Guest House proprietor was really friendly and helpful. We had a very early start the next day and she gave us a cool box with a good selection for our breakfast so we didn't miss out. The accomodation is clean, but basic but everything you need for a good night sleep. Would recommend to friends and family and would stay again.

The owner was very friendly and very helpful. I am wheat intolerant and the owner ensured that she had wheat free bread for me on arrival for breakfast the following day. I found the atmosphere pleasant friendly and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and I would stay at the B and B again.
