Set within 80 acres of kept grounds, De Vere Venues Chicheley Hall is a stunning Grade I listed mansion, dating back to the early 18th century.

Beds were very comfy
the walls are very thin
sports facitilites, always clean, great staff, food mostly good, free wifi throughout.
Poor mobile signal, food doesn't always suit me (but thats a personal thing) shower over baths can be a bit tricky to get in and out of
Everything was great , mainly the food and the staff
The staff members were very helpful.
There are no indications as to the location of the hotel. There are signs leading to Kents Hill Park generally, but none indicating the hotel. Quality of sleep is very poor due to the thinness of doors: I was kept awake by other doors opening and closing, or electric plugs being used in other rooms...
The layout of the complex how it was segregated
The attitude of the house keeping staff, being disturbed too much from 9am. When told check out was between 11am/noon.
Location is good for OU.
Wifi didn't seem good enough for a video call - but fine for voice.
The poky beds, dated décor. The toiletries - No shower caps, tissues in the room. Only one loo roll for a twin bed.
Clean Bed Comfortable Breakfast was Good
Room very small Not ideal for a long stay
Bathrooms were clean
Good service, reasonable price
We felt that the room was a disappointment after walking through the reception and dining area. We appreciate the fact that you are a business centre, but feel the accomodation shows that.
facilities were very good and the staff on reception were lovely, so friendly and helpful. Thank you
Everything was fine but if I had to say something then the bathrooms could do with a little update.
food, room ,staff.
to much noise in corridors from doors banging to people having conversations outside rooms at 1.30 in the morning rang reception and got no answer supposed to be manned 24hrs.
Huge hotel and looks like a hospital. The beds are small and unconfortable. We also had some drunken people knock on the doors continuously during the night.
room service staff food bar prices location
price of room with no breakfast included was too high.
Good gym and pool facilities.
Restaurant, green spaces, reception staff (extremely helpful & friendly). If I was ever staying in the area with a friend/s or colleagues, I would 100% return but perhaps not as a solo traveler.
Felt isolated in my room - too remote from main desk, TV wasn't very good, took me ages to find my room. I think Kents Hill Park is perfect for group travelers but as I was staying solo, I felt a bit uncomfortable seeing lots of groups walking around, felt I REALLY stood out! I didn't like the distance I was from staff/front desk.
Good Exercise and Swimming Facility. The Staff were friendly and the dining area is good. As the hotel stands this is a good budget hotel for groups of people. With decor and facility refurbishment in the future I would give the hotel a higher rating
The room decor was a bit outdated although their is a planned refurbishment in the future.
Cracked my head on sharp wooden headboard. TV did not work without interference. Desk light flicked constantly and was useless. Finished teaching in a conference room at 5 PM and went to get a coffee in the candidate refreshment area before writing my reports. Refreshments had already been cleared away.
Not a lot
The way it was marketed as a hotel when it's clearly for conference guests. Rooms were like a teenagers dorm room and the 'foodhall' was reminiscent of a motorway service station.
20 minutes walk to my room No iron in my room Little choice at meal time Self service at meal times Staff that don't want to be there
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff
The double Bed was too small and the linen didn't smell fesh beside the bed also sequicked at lot
People screaming in corridors, i call to reception 3 times but no one didnt done nothink. I didn sleep till 2.30 night. It was really bad. 2 from 10 rate for this hotel
Very friendly staff, they accommodated every need, the room was small but just the right size for us. The en-suite was immaculate and had shampoo and body wash which was a nice extra.
The price was a little bit more than I'd pay for a stay at a hotel like this but it met our needs.
Vegetarian sausages. My room had a nice bath. Alcohol was reasonably priced.
Quite out of town. TV was very small and remote didn't work.
Ideal stay for gigs in MK
