All staff - reception, restaurant, bar etc - were extremely helpful and courteous. Usually there's one surly or bored member of the team, but not here! The facilities were excellent. I'd seen a couple of reviews on Trip Advisor (I think) which said the hotel wasn't up to much behind the smart facade, and that the rooms were very shabby etc, so I was expecting the worst and thinking, well, it's only £50 so it doesn't matter. But in fact it was the best £50's worth of hotel stay I think I've ever had in this country. Incredible value. Even my supper in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. Btw I never usually do these reviews, but I thought I had to on this occasion. I was hugely impressed.

I attended my sister's wedding last Friday. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The wedding planner was excellent. The food was great; everyone had a fabulous time. I enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam room on Saturday. Many thanks Alison Breakfast - the buffet took a while to replenish. I didn't know where to get tea / coffee from (it was as simple as finding a member of staff and asking).

We attended a family wedding and the whole event was excellent. The food ,venue and rooms could not be faulted. Friendly efficient staff. We particularly liked the fact that there was a constant supply of iced water and glasses at the bar throughout the evening.

Quiet room TOn arrival I was told they do no longer accept amex. But they made an exception this time.Due to this, I will not book here again.I Did not feel that they wanted people on business, just upper class golfers or weddings. On arrival, breakfast times and location was not adviced and hence had no breakfaast....

Stayed for wedding venue. In paperwork in room it states you have dressing gowns available (although limited) I asked at reception but was told you no longer provided them, the reason for the dressing gown was for my wife to put on after a bath. I then requested the heating was put on as I felt the room was cold , the receptionist came to the room to inform me she have put the heating on, but the radiators never came on. i would recommend the kenwick to others in the summer only

It's a no-smoking hotel but they put me in a ground floor room with french doors so I could easily go out to smoke. Really comfortable beds and very spacious.

The location was good and easy to find, and beautiful grounds. I found the service in the bar and at mealtimes a little slow and some of the furniture eg leather chairs were in need of a clean. Table cloths would have been nice for evening meals as we seemed not to use the dining room just the bar area for both evening meals and breakfast. Overall though we had a pleasant stay

The hotel location was excellent for our needs We told reception on check out of the following: Our room 301, overlooked the kitchen ventilation system and switched on at 03:45 in the morning waking us up. The kitchen staff obviously started preparing breakfast before the 07:00 start and the smell coming through our open window was almost like being in the kitchen!

We were attending a Wedding. Everything went very smoothly and the staff were quick and attentive. Decorations at the tables and in the room which held the ceremony were very nice. Only fault was the waitress's at breaklfast.Did not ask if we wanted tea or coffee (we had to ask them). Also did not explain the self service on all aspects of the breakfast or see if we wanted something else instead. But overall an enjoyable stay.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was particularly glad that the hotel made no extra charge for my dog. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the room was comfortable and well supplied. The fact that my room had a french window that opened onto grass was a real bonus, as this meant that I didn't have to go all the way back to Reception when the dog needed to go out. Only one thing on the down side. I asked a question of one of the dining room staff at the beginning of breakfast and she said she would go and find out for me - 35 minutes later she had still not returned and a sfar as I'm aware, never did. However, this did not detract from the quality of my stay.

The price of beverages excessive. Upon opening the bedroom window all that could be heard was the air conditioning unit. Toiletries very limited compared with similarly priced hotels.

The room was nice and clean .... spa area was nice, the pool was clean and warm. prices quite expensive for the bar area, one slight issue our room was next to a bridal room, there was an inch gap underneath an adjoining door (between our room and theirs) so the room was not fully private, point has been noted at reception. Decor slightly outdated but overall very nice place
