Friendly staff nothing toouch trouble breakfast excellent !

Closed city area seems dangerous at late night. Majority of shops are closed down. But that area is distant from the guest house.

As I work away alot, we stay in hotels at least once a month, so have a pretty balanced view of what makes for good accommodation. The moment we walked in, we were made so welcome by David and Julie, it was like home from home. Good sized room, space to study, comfy bed, clean bathroom with lovely soft towels, and lots of little extra touches that you normally only find in 5* hotels. I have to start work early the next morning before breakfast time, but David got up extra early and cooked me breakfast, I really appreciated.and If we ever come over to Stoke again, we will certainly look to rebook. Highly recommended.

Staff were really welcoming and accommodating, couldn't have been friendlier.

We stayed here when we come to the regent theatre, we found the guest house very welcoming, the room was great the breakfast was brilliant, our stay here was great. We would definitely stop here again. The room was clean with comp coffee and tea.

The wife says there were a few hairs in the bath and around the sink, but this was bearable.

I was made very welcome and the owners were friendly and helpful. Kenwood Guest House is centrally located, clean, quiet and serves an excellent breakfast. I will certainly be using it again.

room was somewhat dated,toilet seat very thin plastic, a few hairs found in on the bathroom shelf, towels too small,all these were small things but would make it fantastic rather than good and i would still stay again

Everything from the moment we entered the front door. Kenwood Guest House is tastefully decorated and warm, the hosts are welcoming and even offered us mulled wine and home-made mince pies on the house. The rooms have everything you could possibly want: mini-fridge with complimentary mineral water, toiletries, hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities with home-made biscuits, comfortable bed and nice decor. I chose the veggie breakfast with home-made veggie sausages (leak, onion and veggie cheese) and my partner had the Full-English Staffordshire breakfast, both were freshly cooked to order which was served with a generously sized cafetiere of strong coffee (just the way we like our coffee). Kenwood House is heaven on earth; well done

The owners Alison and Trevor are one of the nicest couples we've met in a long time. They are very professional, friendly and take great pride in their guest house. The house itself was spotless, nice and warm, the lbedroom was large and had cosy furnithings, tea/coffe facilities inthe room, a nice touch was the heated towel rail for the fluffy towels. We had a full English for breakfast which was perfectly cooked. We felt as though we were staying with friends rather than in a guest house. A much preferred stay than any ultra modern, unfriendly hotel (we've stayed in those too!). Shame we couldn't stay longer. Highly recommended 100 / 10.

The friendly welcome! The room was very clean and tidy, very comfortable. The Guest House had a real family feel to it and very relaxed and quiet. The breakfast was tasty and hearty. I can sum up by saying "there is attention to detail and very good customer service". For those who enjoy Indian food, there is a Indian Fine Dining in walking distance.

I could not find any thing to complain about.

Firstly, the warm reception we received even though we arrived well before our booking in time. The rooms were large,clean and very comfortable. We only stayed for one night and attended the theatre in Hanley. The Kenwood is very convenient for visitors wishing to visit Hanley shopping centre or the theatre. Breakfast was one of the best of a high standard. Allison, the lady that runs the Guest House, was extremely pleasant, good company and very helpful. I would certainly return to the Kenwood if ever I visited Stoke again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

lovely big rooms.I had room 5 which was on the ground floor by the front door. Ensuite with both a bath and shower, lots of takeaways close by and near to the railway station.

Very clean with every facility and extra provided by the larger chains but much more comfortable. House kept nice and warm and proprietor very welcoming and pleasant.

Location very good for the business I was visiting but not very handy for getting an evening meal especially for a single female dining alone.

They lady who runs the guest house was nIce. The room was great, the fridge was a great touch. We chose the b&b because we could get the bus to Alton towers as its just a 10 min walk from the station. The breakfast was good too, it set us up for the day. Would definately stay there again!

Kenwood Guest House is warm, relaxing and very comfortable. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The proprietress was lovely and very helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her. The full English breakfast was delicious!!
