Staff were friendly and rooms were lovely. It was a very good guest house but we were expecting a hotel. There was no bar or residents' lounge facility and we had to tell them in advance what time we wanted breakfast |

The friendly staff and hearty scottish breakfast The kettle did not fit in the (bathroom) sink so you had to fill up a tumbler glass and pour into kettle! The mirror in the bathroom was placed far too high, no one could look in it. The tv was a bit touch and go. |

The hotel is modern with good parking space available. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our en suite bedroom was light, airy and pleasant with adequate facilities. Good breakfast. |

the attitude of the staff/owner? was very wellcoming, and all were friendly and helpful, the room was extremly clean, and the breakfast very good indeed, and it was no trouble to ask for "refills", we were allowed to use the room beyond the check out time, whilst waiting for our taxi.A great help Not too keen on location, nowhere to walk too whilst waiting for our "event". A lounge to meet up with other friends staying would have been a bonus, and our annex room was clean comfortable, but to me stark,and impersonal with too much light,(this proved no problem when all blinds were down, the view of the washing line/smoking area was a bit offputting. On whole, great value for money |

The room was very clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. The breakfast had a good selection. It's a good stop over for ferries and airports. The walls were pretty thin and we could hear the people in the next room and in the hall below. |

Although the facilities provided by the hotel were fairly basic, they were adequate and acceptable. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and professional. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends. The restaurant did'nt have any licence at all so we could not have a glass of wine with a meal. They did however, direct us to a very nice local pub which served bar meals. |

rooms were very clean and facilities on the whole were good I stayed in a family room I would of felt very over crowded if I had Children with me luckely we didn,t have children with us. We were in a downstairs room I found it noisy you could hear every one walking about upstairs. The cooked breakfast especialy the sausages which tasted like they came form Iceland I would rather of had 1 good quality butcher style sausage than 2 party style sausages |

we enjoyed our stay very much.the hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.nothing was too much trouble for them. the only thing i could fault is that the mirror in the bathroom was a little bit too high. |
