We stayed for two nights in the loft room, which is very spacious, has a nice bathroom and very classy decor with a comfortable bed and linen. The hosts are so welcoming with everything that one cannot praise them enough. And the breakfast... cannot imagine it being any better.

Hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, including Dillion and Bustet the dogs. Lovely garden and grounds with the river and steam railway just at the bottom of the field.

The shower was efficient however a bit more power would have been preferred by us.

Attention to detail of the hosts - the room I stayed in was spacious and beautiful. There were lots of little touches that made it feel like home. The good was excellent - with the same care given I would happily return!

Only one teeny thing - the blinds in the rooftop don't work to effectively block out light - so the light affected my sleep (especially as I was travelling long haul).

Super-king bed & high quality linen.Lovely bathroom with bath & shower. Nice toiletries & magnifying mirror! Good attention to detail. Lots of herbal teas + usual tea & coffee. Fresh milk on arrival. Fridge outside room. Excellent breakfast with huge menu to choose from. Kilbury Manor is a lovely farmhouse with barns, run by a friendly & helpful couple.

The small venetian blinds were not very effective at keeping out the early morning light. Not too big a problem as we were only there for 1 night.

This place ticked all boxes. I was looking for somewhere walking distance to a couple of pubs, but not in a town, a nice room with a big bed, a peaceful location, great breakfast... And still it surpassed expectations. The room was beautiful and Julia and Martin were both friendly and everything we needed was provided. Plenty of maps, a TV and wifi in the room, a separate bath and shower... all these little extras meant it's probably the best B'n'B experience we have had.

Beautiful location, and very comfortable room. Bed was enormous! Excellent shower in the bathroom, and lovely that we had a small fridge with a complimentary pint of milk. Breakfast was amazing, and the dogs were so friendly.

Only very minor gripes - The roof beams in the room hadn't been dusted for cobwebs, and there was either no wi-fi or it wasn't working, but as we were only staying for 1 night this wasn't an issue. The only other thing we would mention, is that if you have a large car, you may find it challenging to pull into the drive through the stone gate posts, though this got easier with practice.

Lovely house and location, friendly hosts, pretty bedroom, very comfortable bed, the place was absolutely spotless, breakfast was perfect, and little extra touches such as a hot water bottle and the home-made marmalade were really appreciated. We felt so welcomed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Nothing except only staying one night!

The owners were very welcoming and accomodating. The room was lovely and was very comfortable. Very tasty breakfasts. The whole stay felt like a good treat! We're planning to stay there again.

A very minor thing - the shower in our room had low water pressure.

Amazing place, people so warm and welcoming. This is beyond a B&B. Room wonderful, every luxury. Food was exceptional, seasonal additions and lovely quality. Ours hosts dealt with a flood on Christmas day but still made our stay exceptional. Thoughtful touches - christmas card and a bottle of (very nice) complimentary port confirmed the notion that guests' enjoyment is top op of the priorities here. Easy to reach, village in strolling disctance under starry ski, moors just a few minutes away. We are already plannning to go back. Only thing is, we feel bad as we don't know how they cab make a living from these rates and with this level and quality of facilities and service.

    No down-sides whatsoever.

Wonderful hospitality. Beautiful stylish bedrooms and bathrooms. Many touches of luxury. Fluffy towels, crisp clean linen. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice including an amazing homemade compote. 5 star luxury at affordable prices. Great location for sightseeing and walking. Looking forward to returning to Kilbury Manor again soon.

There were no negatives. Even the awful weather didn't spoil our stay. Our host Martin even stuck my husbands leaking wellies!
