Breakfast was great The room was fine The owners were very helpful
Very friendly, quiet, comfortable. Excellent breakfast and setting, and strong/reliable Wifi. For info; it takes approx 10 mins to walk into town, approx 20 mins to walk to the Abbey Inn. And the lane is unlit and very - very - dark, so take a torch.
The irritating gate (particularly so for solo travellers I guess).
Owners very welcoming!! Lovely looking place, and in a nice part of Devon..
Very nice location and my room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Julia and Martin were a very friendly couple and gave us details of local restaurants etc. Didn't have time to explore the area which was a shame as we were doing a weekend cookery course. Will have to return.
We stayed in the Loft Room, which is absolutely gorgeous. The decor was tasteful and the bathroom luxurious, and included quality complimentary toiletries and touches that would not have been out of place in a five-star hotel! Loved having our own entrance and the privacy that entailed. Wonderful hosts and you won't find a better breakfast anywhere. Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.
A quiet location, with beautiful grounds and a warm welcome.
Warm welcome, really helpful when we arrived rather stressed
This is a fantastic B&B, with the most lovely and helpful owners. A great location away from all the hustle and bustle, but also not too far away from town so you can still walk in the evening to a pub for dinner and a few drinks.
It was one of the best B&B´s we have ever been to. 100% recommendable!
Lovely welcome. Our room was beautiful, cosy and comfortable. Attention to detail exemplary. Only able to stay one night but would definitely stay again.
Lovely room comfortable bed and great breakfast.
From the pictures it looks single storey but we had someone sleeping above us who you could hear moving about.
Good Breakfast Comfy Bed Clean Facilities
Hard Rind was left on the Bacon At Breakfast..small point but would be improved if removed.
Lovely people, great breakfast and comfortable, well appointed room.
You have to stop on the road and open the gate before you can get in/ out.
We spent four nights at Kilbury Manor. It was the beginning of our tour in Great Britain and our hosts, Julia and Martin, gave us plenty of tips about the wonderful places to see in Devon. The room was very chic, nicely designed and fully equipped. We enjoyed great afternoons in the garden. Julia and Martin also cooked us every morning delicious traditional breakfasts. We definitely recommend this place. Lori&Rob, Paris
The lovely Warm Hosts Julia and Martin, who provide Acommadation of the Highest Calibre.,with lovely Fresh Breakfast Ingredients ,and the most extensive cooked breakfast List you could imagine.New to the Area ,plenty of advice offered on Eating Places and places to Visit to fill up your days.
Absolutely nothing to Dislike.!!
Everything. Once we had found Kilbury Manor we would never stop anywhere else in Devon its fabulous, Close to everywhere, the owners are so friendly nothing is too much trouble
Kilbury Manor is a wonderful place to relax and recharge the batteries. The welcome was great and the room we stayed in was extremely comfortable, clean and had everything we required. It was great to have feather duvets and pillows and the softness and whiteness of the towels and bed linen would have made any washing powder manufacturer proud! Breakfast was very good, with as much toast and tea/coffee as required. Also a great choice of breakfast cooked to our requirements. The hosts had a wealth of knowledge about places to walk and kindly loaned us maps and books. We were able to sit in the garden and share a bottle of wine without being disturbed - bliss!
We stayed for two nights in the loft room, which is very spacious, has a nice bathroom and very classy decor with a comfortable bed and linen. The hosts are so welcoming with everything that one cannot praise them enough. And the breakfast... cannot imagine it being any better.
Tastefully decorated comfortable and great breakfasts
Wonderful friendly hosts in this beautiful old manor house, very welcoming, very clean, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, marvellous home cooked breakfasts, plenty of tea and toast, could not have asked for more. Will definitely be back when we go to Devon
The owners were very friendly and happy to help with any query. The location we found to be excellent short journey from the coast and dartmoor.
First class second visit and will not be the last
Every aspect of our stay was Excellent. We will Return.
Not A Thing.
Lovely large bedroom and ensuite in the barn, crisp white sheets and duvets, nice soaps, choice of teas in bedroom, good range of leaflets and information folder, super breakfast with nice marmalade and toast, choice also included fruit salad, porridge, cooked breakfast and fruit juice
Hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, including Dillion and Bustet the dogs. Lovely garden and grounds with the river and steam railway just at the bottom of the field.
The shower was efficient however a bit more power would have been preferred by us.
