Set among 22 acres of woodlands in the Ardamurchan Peninsular, Kilcamb has rooms and countryside views. In the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the Kilcamb Lodge Hotel has dramatic loch and mountain views from almost every window. Otters and red deer are among the area’s varied wildlife. Rooms have private bathrooms with bathtubs, showers, bathrobes and luxury toiletries. All rooms have TVs and come with tea/coffee making facilities. There is Wi-Fi available in the hotel. Dating back to the 1700s, the hotel has cozy log fires and a friendly, informal atmosphere. The location was perfect. Food superb but very limited on choice only a 2 starters and 2 mains. This Country house hotel was expensive but to charge an additional 2% for paying by credit card I thought was outrageous. I complained and this charge was dropped.

The staff was exceptional staff and I can't say enough about how kind and helpful they were from the first moment we arrived. The location is absolutely fabulous. We could only stay one night but would have liked to stay more. I thought the quality of the food at dinner was just average and less than one could have expected for a hotel of this level. Also, we had to change our room because of the noise from an air conditioning motor just outside our room. I can't understand how you can have a hotel in such an idyllic place and then put a noisy machine under a guest bedroom window.

Service, location. Rooms and food are overpriced, poor working shower, food was presented as top exclusive but was normal, breakfast with cold toast and slow service. The high class presented estate could use some paint. We booked a suite which was a normal big room.

The staff were very welcoming as soon as we arrived and the atmosphere was extremely relaxing. When I mader the booking I booked a room with a loch view and on arrival, this room had a side view of the loch. This was not very clear on the booking format as a side view appeared to be a cheaper option and not the one I booked.
