La colazione varia ed abbondante. La scarsa pulizia della camera da letto ( capelli tra le lenzuola)e i teli da bagno da me posti dal pavimento affinchè venissero cambiati riposti bagnati sul portasciugamani. Inoltre la camera era di dimensioni molto ridotte, all'ultimo piano col soffitto mansardato ed una piccola finestra cosa che rendeva l' ambiente opprimente e poco arieggiato. Dopo mio reclamo su teli e lenzuola mi sono stati sostitutiti i teli ma non cambiate le lenzuola. Mi è stato praticato uno sconto di 20 sterline come risaricmento sul totale del conto. Non è un hotel 4 stelle! |

La gentilezza dello staff e la disponibilità La pulizia delle camere, le camere standard assegnate non avevano il letto a baldacchino come da foto di booking e la camera executive non era nè moderna nè al piano terra come indicato sulla prenotazione di booking |

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Lovely old house with character. Meal in Matthews was fabulous. This is our third stay and we will be back again next year. |

A comfortable, quirky Hotel with a lot of character. We had a warm welcome and service was excellent. Breakfast was great and the Hotel is in a nice quiet position in easy reach of the centre by lots of buses stopping just outside the hotel. |

Very helpful and welcoming staff/ good choice of items for breakfast/ good location with frequent and fast public transport links to city centre/ independent restaurant within hotel served excellent food! Allocated a room without the spa bath we expected (bath was out of commission) / although given a larger room, shower room was very small - with cracked and broken tiles on floor and wall! / The bed was obviously not new, so was not very comfortable! |

Very friendly and polite staff. Warm welcome including introduction to the hotel area, transports to the city centre, city festivals and events, etc. Clean and cosy room with free wireless internet connection (although very poor signal strength in my room). Very nice restaurant for dinner. Short commuting distance to the city centre (just 5 min by bus, with frequent bus services). In the breakfast buffet sometimes the food and cutlerly was not restored. |

Beautiful building, very friendly staff The location is a ways from the city center. It is extremely conveniently accessible by bus; however, at night once we were back at the hotel, we didn't feel like going back out. Next time I would stay closer to the city. |
