Ett litet, personligt hotell, med fantastisk personal. Både hotellet och rummen var stiltypiskt brittiska/skotska. Det kändes som att komma "hem" när man kom till hotellet. Bra frukost med stort urval. Nej. |

Allt fungerade perfekt. Personalen utomordenligt trevlig. Rummet stort och trevligt inrett, extremt välstädat. Den skotska frukosten var den bästa vi ätit under våra resor i Skottland. Ingenting. |

We went for one of the four poster rooms which was very nice and included free sherry and shortbread, jacuzzi bath. The decor was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly, the lounge very cosy and the restaurant was excellent. Our room was on the ground floor next to the lounge and the main reception so we could hear a lot of what was going on in these areas which made the room feel less private. |

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Lovely old house with character. Meal in Matthews was fabulous. This is our third stay and we will be back again next year. |

A comfortable, quirky Hotel with a lot of character. We had a warm welcome and service was excellent. Breakfast was great and the Hotel is in a nice quiet position in easy reach of the centre by lots of buses stopping just outside the hotel. |

Very helpful and welcoming staff/ good choice of items for breakfast/ good location with frequent and fast public transport links to city centre/ independent restaurant within hotel served excellent food! Allocated a room without the spa bath we expected (bath was out of commission) / although given a larger room, shower room was very small - with cracked and broken tiles on floor and wall! / The bed was obviously not new, so was not very comfortable! |

It is most convenient for buses into the city, allowing one to park the car and attend Festival events.Good - and rare - to be offered haggis for breakfast! |

Room 7: The design of the bathroom door made it difficult to close from inside (could be remedied very easily by re-positioning the inside door knob to the middle of the door). |
