Set on the slopes of Ochil Hill, the 19th-century Broomhall Castle features charming rooms, some with four-poster beds. The historical city of Stirling is just 5 miles away.

Everything about our stay was really good wonderful and very friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble for them food was great ,portions were generous, definatly recommend it,
Easy to get to. Quiet location with a country feel, yet only a few minutes drive to Stirling. Breakfast was good. Free wifi and parking was a bonus.
Would like to see tea and coffee on hot plates so you could help yourself. Doesn't have a lift so you need to carry bags up one flight of stairs. Ask for a room on ground floor if this is a problem for you.
I expected a budget hotel but was pleasantly surprised. Large, clean room, good shower and lovely breakfast. Not the ritz but absolutely good value for money.
Booked two rooms. Family with young children , and grandparents Friendly ,helpful staff. Good food.
Rooms require updating , lack of sockets ,one room smelled damp and unpleasant .
Located right next to the historic Bannockburn memorial. Excellent value evening meal. Decent breakfast.
Shower flo was very poor as opposed to running bath hot tap, which was copious!
Our room was good size and overlooked the Battle of Bannockburn parkland. Comfortable bed and clean modern bathroom. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
Meals were excellent! Friendly and helpful staff
Quite old equipment in the bathroom, WiFi in our room was poor (as the room was quite far from the lobby), and as our windows faced the parking, early in the morning it was noisy and very difficult to sleep
Staff were very friendly and food was excellent
Noisy central heating
The restaurant had nice meals at a good price.
Room was not very clean with dust and grime. The bathroom floor was not clean and had hair and dust on the floor when we checked in and pretty much stayed that way. The shower cubicle needs cleaning or re grouting as it was dirty with pink stuff. Shower pressure is very slow and same goes for toilet and takes a while to refill so often you had to wait until it would flush again before using. The beds weren't very comfortable. Rooms are quite compact and heating works on and off so room was quite cold at night. The rooms are very dated and really don't look like the pictures. The whole hotel needs a huge facelift and the rooms completely renovated. Some staff were very helpful but also some staff weren't, like they didn't enjoy there job and this showed.
an overall good stay
the bath towels were tiny
- Value for money - Day staff was comprehensive of problems and offered a partial refund.
- The bathrooms weren't very clean - The radiator was noisy when turned off and prevented us from sleeping - The hotel looks very old and tired - Night staff not helpful with problems
It is tha classical "holiday inn" like hotel, along the main road that connects the center of Stirling with the motorway. The breakfast is excellent and the wifi very fast.
Bathroom has to be refreshed and the moquette is EVERYWHERE! The staff is not particularly friendly and the position is also a bit far from the town center.
The location as we specifically came to visit the Bannockburn Centre, so it was perfect for us. The restaurant was also very good, good food and excellent staff. The breakfast was also very good, there again the staff were excellent. You should be very proud of your staff.
We were very comfortable, but the rooms and reception area could do with being refurbished.
The hotel is situated on the battle of bannockburn. The view from my room was fantastic .Rooms not fancy but comfortable and clean.Staff very helpful will visit again.
There was nothing that I did not like great value for the money.
Most things were fair
1st room we were given had a musty smell. The room we got second was better but then noticed leak in bath ceiling, foot of bed base board was almost going to break. Also..after changing our rooms , for some reason we din't get our wake up call.. Think that would have been done automatically in the computer.
Nice breakfast, good wifi, ample car parking
decor a bit dated in rooms and bathrooms in need of retiling
A large hotel with quite large rooms which is well positioned for travellers. There is an excellent bistro with reasonable prices. Also a buffet breakfast gives satisfactory options for everyone's needs.
Nice hotel good breakfast.
Early breakfast for Ryder Cup Pleasant and friendly staff
The hotel was easy to find The breakfast one of the best self service we have had, though still like everyone else cheap cereals offered
Minute towels Hard pillows Old uncomfortable mattress Airless room very small opening window Shower only a trickle Only one bedside cabinet for double bed
Staff and food were very good
The hotel rooms are in need of refurbishment as they have a feel of being very dated and tired
Situation, size of room
no lift, very long way to room with awkward stairs to climb to first floor
The King William was in a good location to pick up the Park and Ride for the Rider Cup. Very accommodating staff that started breakfast times early for those leaving early and also dinner times were later for those like us returning late from the golf. We arrived hours before our room was ready but were able to put out luggage in a safe room. Value for money with a good breakfast and dinner. It was well worth what we paid. Beautiful view from our room also!
Mattress was a bit lumpy and corridors could do with updating.
Excellent breakfast. Room and bathroom could not fault. Yes corridors a bit tired but would stay there again. Reception staff very helpful
