Great as I attended a wedding won't do it again
A bit bland
Hair dryer was very poor and on my second morning I didn't wash my hair. If I had being staying any longer I would need to have gone to purchase a hair dryer.
price and convenient to Stirling
excellent breakfast，friendly staff
a little far from city center by foot
The food was amazing! We were so full from the dinner that we didn't really want the breakfast.
The radiator/plumbing in our room made an awful noise when it came on or went off thus either waking us up or keeping us awake.
We had a very nice room, the food in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. Very good location for Bannockburn and 10 minutes from Stirling
The friendly staff
I was unable to control the Central heating. The room was very warm
Friendly staff and good breakfasts
Good location, not too far from town centre. Friendly staff. Only had breakfast there, but good choice.
Only thing that cud have been improved in room would be a dressing table mirror to get ready. Where mirror was was bit dim with soft lighting.
Good location, staff friendly, Robbie on bar made us feel very welcome. Room was basic but clean, we stayed for bar supper and food was good.
My pet hate - nice large dining room and half closed off with chairs so we're all squished together like sardines to keep the cleaning down - breakfast served till 10 am and we went in at 9 am
The food, both evening and morning was good value. The Lounge bar was friendly and the evening entertainment was unexpected.
The pillows were awful. Like sleeping with your head on a log. We both had a sore neck in the morning.
Location to family. Visited to see family members who live in the area. Did not use hotel facilities Very close to Scottish National Trust property
Only stayed for 1 night so we were unable to fairly judge
Good value for the money, super breakfast, good large car park.
Wallpaper starting to peel in some areas.
Need a topper on matters
Staff Very Friendly especially Holly & the other young girl in the bar & restaurant. Had meal in the hotel the 2 night we were there and would also give compliments to the chef. Breakfast everything you could ask for. Stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary & will certainly make a return visit in the future. I work with the public myself, the management should be proud of all there staff, Thank for a very welcoming weekend.
The evening meal in the bar area was very good, and served by friendly staff.
The hotel generally was tired looking. In particular my room was very run down. The mattress was several years too old. The shower cubicle leaked water all over the floor. This was reported after the first night. It was claimed this was the first time it had been reported, although I doubt that due to the amount of water on the floor and the fact that bathroom furniture was warping and rotting where it met the floor. The problem was not fixed and occurred again the next morning. When checking out no enquiry was made as to whether I had enjoyed my stay. The lady at reception did not seem concerned. The pictures on the booking.com website were very flattering to the hotel.
All of the facilities were good, bed very comfortable and breakfast excellent.
good food served with a smile friendly welcoming staff hearty well cooked breakfast was a bonus very quiet overnight
I was at a hotel function so perfect location. Good parking Good breakfast Good size room for a single Good heating in room Nice bathroom Free wifi
Noisy late guests!
food excellent good choice ample parking
no heated towel rail flex not long enough on hairdryer sound proofing not good
Great location for what we needed. Lovely staff. Great breakfast.
Hotel in need of a refurb. Cleanliness of room wasn't the best
Good parking. Handy location. Friendly staff.
Reception area far too hot. Includes bar area. Must waste loads of money on heating bills
Adjacent to the battlefield; good breakfast.
Little character, somewhat bland - but perfectly adequate.
The staff were friendly.
The bed was really uncomfortable and the bathroom had someone else's hair everywhere. There was a wedding on and the constant music/base kept us awake. Would never have stayed if we had known.
Was near to attractions and shopping centre
Could do with bigger towels and real tomato's at breakfast
