Score from 1988 reviews Good
location friendly staff
bathroom very small if your a big guy like me room tiny for 2 people breakfast was a little disappointing 2 eggs 1 scope of beans 2 toast
Friendly staff Breakfast good Overall good value for money
Cold bedroom at night
The location is very convenient for a short trip
The wifi connection is poor even with a room on the 1st floor . Breakfast is aswell too restricted.
literally 5 minutes from kings cross. the bed was comfy room was warm
the curtains in my room didn't go to the floor even tho the window did so light came through. Luckily in winter sunrise is pretty late!
It located directly opposite King Cross station. We like to try different hotels during our vacation. This is most expensive yet offers the least. First they gave us a room in the basement with a window opened to their DUMPING ground. (Trashbags, broken furnitures, bricks etc) We refused and got a room on the 4th story where WIFI does not reach. At least the heater works.
The water stopped during our shower due to low pressure! WIFI does not reach our room. I had to sit in the narrow, dirty stairs to surf. Tea cups were chipped and no spoon to stir sugar. Paper thin, non sound proof walls. Precarious electric sockets. They prefer cash than credit cards. Breakfast was horrific: only egg, beans and super discounted fake croissant in a dinghy cell. I wandered in the streets till late hrs in order to avoid returning to hotel to rest. No sitting lounge, no reception area. For the price they charge, this is a scam.
Nice bed, ok breakfast (even if no bacon) location near kings x and euston
small room Bit scruffy
-no wifi first day, told the guy to fix it, so second day i had low signal wifi, almost unable to use -no towels, asked at the reception for the second day, no towels again. Not recommended, just a ripoff
Early check was confirmed, however when we arrived we were told that our room was not ready! Had to wait 20 mins whilst it was prepared.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
The room was tiny, the Internet was slow and the bed was lopsided and very uncomfortable.
Close to St Pancras Station for early morning Eurostar. We left too early for cooked breakfast, but had access to kitchen to make toast, coffee and cereal. Rooms were very clean. Would definitely stay overnight again.
The location was fantastic, a couple minutes from the king cross metro station which was so handy for us. The staff seemed friendly enough though we didn't speak to them much.
the room looked like it had been chopped in half .. the door was wimpy and let all the light through, the walls had holes in, it was just a bit shabby!
-position; -the room is clean and nice; -the staff is kind
-poor breakfast (i'd like to eat bacon) -garden with rubbish
comfy bed, proximity to Kings Cross and Pubs.
No cold water in shower, so too hot to use. Personnel with responded 'we know, it's a little hot'. Not really what you expect for over a hundred pounds. Don't stay here.
Staff friendly, clean cosy room. Comfy bed. Great location. A really good price.
Very basic but didn't affect our stay.
the location is good as it really near to the tube
they extra charged for credit card payment. the room are so tiny that you cannot fit a carry-on luggage in them. Bathroom unequipped, there was no mirrow in the room!
Location for what we wanted was good. Value for that part of London.
Really nothing not to like - you get what you pay for
it was only for one night
ceiling damaged,vermin traps in room,walls soiled with food/drink,walls damaged/very thin(could here staff conversations on phone),couldn't open any windows(nailed shut)floor spacewas only about 500mm x 1200mm (TINY)
The hotel was a good price in comparrison to a lot near kings cross. Perfect for a quick stay When the receptionist realised it was my mum and I staying and I had booked a double room in error he gave us a triple room! Great customer service.
The beds were very creaky and it was quite noisy as we were downstairs near the reception (although it was nice not to have to climb stairs with cases and my 70year old mum)
Easy to get to all attractions and transport links. Would recommend to friends!
Good location, very friendly staff.
Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Could hear people in the next room every night.
Cold room, uncomfortable bed, no facilities for evening meal, not a hotel as advertised but a poor B&B
Excellent value for money.
The location of this hotel was great just a small walk from King's Cross. Although near a busy area we didn't hear any noise during the night. The bed was very comfortable, had a good sleep both nights. Staff friendly and polite. On arrival we were able to leave suitcase while we went sightseeing which staff later carried up the narrow 3 flights of stairs for us to our room.
Very small narrow room with extreme lack of facilities. Only a small single door wobbly wardrobe which we didn't use, kept our clothes in suitcase. Bathroom nowhere to store our toiletries and bath mat would have been great stepping out of shower to save a wet floor. Take your toiletries as only thing supplied was small bar of soap. Continental breakfast consisted of 2 choices of cereal, orange juice, 2 slices of toast and make your tea/coffee. We ate out on our second morning. Would I stay again....NO
