This was a really friendly place with a local feel. The food was good, with a homemade quality and very tasty. The accomodation was lovely and the view from the window was gorgeous. Couple this with the fact that the location was beautiful you couldn't have asked for a better weekend away.
There wasn't really anything we didn't like.
Location, friendliness of staff who were only to willing to please. Food good, beer excellent.
Room had cobwebs and mould in shower area which did not drain away well food not great certainly not gastro quality yet charged "gastro" prices. Overall would return more due to location and friendliness of staff.
Great rooms friendly staff and great surrounding xxx
Lovely setting, beautiful room and very friendly staff. The pub food is excellent too - the breakfast sees you through the whole day and we had dinner there too.
We liked the clean cut, but elegant style of the rooms. We especially liked the fact that the stone floors are dog proof and that pets could be let straight out through the double doors.
Staff friendly and helpful. No mobile phone signal so really able to relax. Rooms we great with under floor heating. Lovely big bath. DVD players available to borrow when weather too bad to do anything else.
Rooms got a bit too warm at night even with heating turned down as low as possible. On the face of it rooms were clean except for places like the edge of the tea tray and the slash back on the shower.
Pet friendliness. Like the stone flooring with underfloor heating, spacious room.Great breakfast
No wifi in the room we were in ,which we didn't mind but teenage children did (the main block has wifi)
I loved the place ,the staff, the view and the breakfast! Would recommend to anyone ! Can't wait to come back
Very hard pillows - that's the only thing ! Faultless
The staff were generally welcoming and the festival (that we had not known was on!) was interesting! The live music was good and the atmosphere very friendly.
Visiting in October meant end of season and the room did seem a bit 'tired'! The bedside lamp shade was broken, the underfloor heating didn't work but was fixed quickly and the bed sheet had a rip in it! Didn't ask for a discount but it would've been nice to have been offered an apology/money off!
excellent breakfast choices...friendly staff
EXCELLENT ROOM EXCELLENT FOOD
SHOWER WAS PATHETIC NO SALT MARSH LAMB ON MENU
great rooms very dog friendly excellent food and ales helpful friendly staff
Pet friendly. Good pub food.
Excellent food and good choice of local beers. Busy but always good service. Great location for walking. Fun seeing the Welsh ponies grazing outside the pub !
Room, location, bed, food!
People incessantly banging doors one night!!
All of the stay was very, very nice. Staff, rooms ,breakfast was smashing
Excellent customer service and really good food. Quick service in the restaurant and bar with plenty of attention to detail. Every guest was treated with respect and consideration. Lovely, spacious rooms and a huge bath in a modern and well-lit bathroom.
I found the pillows a bit uncomfortable (but my partner thought they were fine.) There was a little bit of black mould on the shower screen rim and in the corner of the bathroom by the shower.
Comfortable room Wonderful deep bath Excellent breakfast/evening meals Dog made welcome too
Location. Breakfasts. Comfy big bed. Good shower. Range of menu.
Bar needs a bit of love and attention
Overall a very good set up. Food excellent and available most of the day.
Some noise from other rooms.
The spacious rooms the beautiful views lovely food and friendly staff.
The food was really good
Sign posts to location very very poor
Location for walking was excellent. Siting of accommodation just away from pub meant no disturbance from pub goers. Food at breakfast and dinner was good. Staff very pleasant and friendly, pity the weather wasn't as good. We were looking for a reasonably priced short break and the Kings Head Inn ticked all the boxes.
Toiletries not replenished during our stay but given what we paid, perhaps should not have expected this.
Walking to beachs . Food good in pub. Friendly staff .
Green light above door in room on all night quite disturbing. Quite bright
We were very happy with our stay every thing was good I would have liked the welsh lamb on the menu more often
