The location is fantastic. The food was delicious. The service friendly and efficient.
Very friendly staff, comfortable room.
Friendly staff, spotless, modern rooms with underfloor heating. Excellent pub and great atmosphere.
The staff were welcoming and helpful. Beautiful location and good value food. Will definitely go again.
At night the bedroom was very light so had difficulty in sleeping.
Really great place to stay. Accommodation faultless. Staff very friendly and helpful and food was fantastic. Will definately go back. Highly recommended.
Pub - Back of bar needs updating. Quite scruffy and gives wrong first impression
Room though spacious was a little sterile. Not much character.
The main room complex is attractive. Wide choice of food. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very welcoming.
The pub decor is rather tired and dated. Earlier breakfast would be better.
Large room good location
Poor attenion to detail
The room was excellent and the breakfast was plentiful with every thing you could require and more
Nothing not to like
Mould in Bathroom No wifi problems with tv problems with fan in bathroom general lack of maintenance
Lovely large rooms. Very clean.
Booked a double room. Bed far too small!
The quality of the rooms.Friendly staff, dog friendly rooms on the whole I would recommend the Kings Head an excellent place to stay.
Location. Spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bed rather uncomfortable - almost rock solid!
Size of the room Friendly staff Quiet place Nice and modern bath-room
Waiting time for dinner
only one chair in our room
The staff, particularly in the pub were very helpful & went that extra mile to be friendly.
Location in a very small village was very nice. Breakfast was excellent and could not be faulted in anyway. Room was adequate.
Being allocated an adapted disabled bathroom when other rooms were available. Shower was inadequate. Floor was stone and not only slippery when wet but cold. The picture on main picture on Booking.com is of the additional new accommodation which is set behind the pub car park. It does not represent the actual location. No access to wifi in the town house, this was only communicated on reading the welcome pack in the room. Also, Mobile phone signal is very poor generally in this area so not having wifi as well can be an issue. Bed linen was cheap and worn. The Pub in the evening is run badly by inexperienced young staff, we were offered single shots of spirits in half pint glasses.
Accommodation set well back from pub at rear with views over countryside toward beach. Quiet. Excellent room design and fittings. Good varied menu in pub, close to beach and coastal path.
Location was great
Bedroom was like a sauna. Had to keep curtains closed as we were overlooked by rooms opposite. Bathroom wasn't very clean. Restaurant very busy, had to wait at least an hour for food. Why do hotels or B and B think it's ok to have mouldy grout, in bathrooms.
The room we had was lovely with doors opening out on patio area.
Make sure you book if you wamt an evening meal. The pub was very busy.
All good from reception to comfort and location.
It was a pity we couldn't stay for longer!
The positive attitude of the centre, given that its season is so limited. Friendliness, apart from one male member of the bar staff (who also took meal orders).
The centre's Wi-Fi works only in the bar area, and is unsecured. Connection via Ethernet (as advertised) and Wi-Fi in the accommodation area of Kings Head 2 was non-existent, with the problem residing in the Centre's router settings, and these were not altered in the 3 nights we spent there. As mobile reception is very limited in this area, I think this is a major problem which needs to be sorted out asap.
Atmosphere,people,views and location
Benches outside, comfier seating would be nicer.
Breakfast not very good (food)
We both really enjoyed our stay at the Kings Head; the ultimate de stress weekend, rooms, facilities, and quality of the food all excellent & very friendly staff- we'll defiantly be back & can't wait!
