The room was really great, size, quality, cleanliness etc. Also the breakfast was lovely. The hotel parking was overpriced, £15 for 24 hours but the train station pay as you go was £5.50 and no different.

Lovely hotel. Super room, close to the railway station and to shuttle bus into Chester and pick up point for the sightseeing buses. However not at all noisy. Would have3 been nice to have a safe and mini bar in the room for a hotel of this standard.

Location and quality room The only fault we found was we had to pay a parking fee of £10 per night.Have never paid a parking fee to a hotel before. Thought this was over the top for the prices they charged for accomodation.

The Kings suites were extremely well appointed and quiet given the fact that they were in a separate wing to the main Queens hotel. The catering and services in the Queens were very good and the staff were extremely efficient.

Wanted to relax and have some grown up time before the Christmas rush,, and The Kings suite at the Queens hit the spot for comfort, luxury, and relaxation...great location for the trains and 10 min to the city centre.. The bathroom was a nice surprise to see a bath and a big one at that.. Will come back again as Chester is our fav City...

We were on an overnight stay with our relatives as a gift for both their birthdays..the two rooms were very large and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpfull and the rooms were very quiet and overlooking the lovely patio gardens below. It was not as close to the shopping area as expected by the website and as our relative was 90 we needed easy access to everything. We could not get in our room until 3o'clock and we were leaving the next morning after breakfast so felt we really only had half a day. When we arrived the hotel area looked a bit tired and quiet busy, so we were asked to sit in a room rather like a doctors waiting room, but then we got to our rooms which were absolutely lovely and very large.

We stayed in the new part of the hotel in the Vespian room which was lovely, its not large but the bathroom was great and the shower perfect. The staff that we encounted were very friendly and helpful. Location was ok had to get a taxi into Chester City Centre but the hotel was directly opposite the train station. We would definately consider staying there again The only one thing for us was late at night we found it noisy with the pubs around the hotel but still not enought to put us of returning

Very convenient location for the Railway Station - especially with the Free Bus into the town centre and the stop for the Open Top Bus Tour. The night light built into the skirting near the bathroom - very good for those of us who have to get up in the night and are worried about disturbing people. No heating in the Bathroom. When I queried this Reception I was informed that the wall heated towel rail had been switched off because of it getting too hot and creating health and safety issues. They need to get this sorted out quickly. It would put me off staying again if I thought I couldn't have a warm bathroom.

Our room was very nice and felt luxurious, paid 159 for a night so would have been disappointed had it not been. Breakfast was good although it was help yourself from the hot plates. Staff were ok but didnt go out of their way to help, there were 3 wedding parties that weekend so they were kept busy. Great place for a shopping weekend 10 mins from center of Chester, the hotel is directly opposite the train station which will definitely use if we come again as we had to pay £15 for the car park.

Good hotel, good staff, very busy place for our stay due to conferences and a wedding. Hotel has a lot of charactere and a lot of romans... Superb bathroom, nice bedroom but the bed was uncomfortable, far too soft..... From the 7th floor we should have had a great view if only the outside windows had been cleaned.
