Location, Staff, Beer, Nice room
Very friendly and helpful staff seriously friendly. Spacious room Surprisingly quiet despite it is in the Main Street Warm heated rooms Close to dominoes and food shops
Shower is bad Old squeaky beds
comfortable bed; plenty of space for clothes etc; good-sized room; en suite; the beer
Absence of a lift; absence of an armchair in bedroom; feebleness of shower; Wi-Fi connection poor
Beer, staff, pub decor, prices mikkeller under £5 per pint ! Free wifi. Incredible atmosphere inside pub. Not full of hipsters (yet)
Leyton isn't the nicest part of london bit grim you need to get a bus to walthamstow for tube.
The staff were fantastic and very friendly. Rooms were very basic but clean.
People throwing up outside the window. Parking ticket for standing outside for 20 mins. Free parking 3 streets away if your lucky.
The owner(s) very welcome. The quiet room, rather big.
No heating in that beginning of december. Low pressure in the shower with some difficulties to fix the temperature.
Lots of shops, cafes and pubs nearby. A shirt walk to tube, train and bus. A warm welcome and a good night's sleep!
Had to drive around in circles for a bit to find some where to park.
great location with a number of surrounding stores & restaurants open late. I definitely will be staying with them again on my next trip to London.
the room and hallways was stuffy and would have benefitted from a few hours of airing out each day.
Staff were really friendly and helpful Good value Clean room Decent size room Free WiFi with good bandwidth Great selection of beers on tap in the bar
The bed was basic Single glazing let a bit of noise through
clean and cosy, near underground
Great staff, great beer and large room.
Nothing, all fine.
It is a basic pub offering a basic room at a reasonable price. Plenty of opportunity to go out for food and drink locally
pedestrian crossing outside room was faulty in that the "button" was stuck in, therefore every 20 seconds it continued to bleep throughout the night, hence no sleep, not the hotels fault but needs reporting or monitoring for future guests
- Very clean throughout - Good size ensuite room - Good size shower room - Friendly staff - Tea and coffee making facilities - TV - Proximity to shops - Don't need to go through pub to get to room
- No double glazing on window which looked out to busy street so quite noisy - Fine for what we needed but it's a bus and tube to journey to central London so worth factoring in the cost/benefit
Cheap, good beer, great customer cervice if asked or needed, tidy, good bathroom, London public transportation system more than compensates the location of this hotel and good wifi.
Noisy neighbors, doors in rooms don't keep noise outside and the place were a bit far from center
Amazing brodies and mikkeller beer, proper boozer
Nothing, love this pub
The food and the staff were great, the room was fine, nothing special but suited my needs.
The shower was terrible,
Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for you. Excellent value for money and had a great big room. Will definately stay there again, 20 mins on the tube to Euston so quite handy for things.
Nothing - all brilliant
Inexpensive. Connected to pub, so you could get food late at night.
Walk up to room on 2nd floor cluttered & dirty. Looked like a remodeling project that hasn't been completed yet. 15 min walk to nearest tube stop than 40 min ride to city centre, but that's why it was £55 per night.
Location was not too far from railway station; lots of places to eat nearby and beer available from pub downstairs. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Nothing really. Beds could maybe do with an upgrade to make them more comfortable but hard to argue with the price I got the room for.
Bed was very comfortable
Window frames were filthy
- staff - pub downstairs - quite nice rooms - bus stop 20m from the hotel - tesco across the street
- quite noisy street during night (not a big deal) - almost impossible to open the window (in one room only)
Really comfy bed, airy room, big bathroom with a good sized shower. Has a tesco and a really cheap (but good) Indian restaurant opposite - handy for if you forgot something for the trip! has the usual tea/coffee /miniature toiletries in the room they also keep a selection of DVDs that are free to borrow for guests
was much further from the tube station than I expected! 2 mile walk.
Spacious room, good beer and pub atmosphere downstairs, clean, nice staff
Street noise and light at night
The room was very large. .. and if all the sights and sounds of a busy London Street make you happy. ... This might be a plus for some!
2 single beds on wheels. .. slid around when moved in bed. Window shutter completely broken so no privacy. .. Lucky we were high up. Place fairly clean in bathroom but not elsewhere. Clearly not bothered about who stays. ...Must have been about 6 teenager's next door room having a party. No sleep all night as a result. No facility to call management. Pub resembles east end gangland. Smashed drinks fridges and dodgy customers. ... Were quite concerned someone might walk into our room in the night. In photos pub looks like it's a lovely detached building. It's not. It's on a hugely busy Street. There is no parking at all outside or on the road the pub is on. Parking is a good 10 minute walk away. I would never stay here again. ... booked to attend a nearby wedding. We were gone 7am having given up on sleep.
Comfortable bed and lots of space. Excellent cafe round the corner for breakfast. Even better Asian restaurant opposite. Beer brewed on the premises.
Lots of stairs! Restricted parking although it didn't give us problems this trip.
