Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for you. Excellent value for money and had a great big room. Will definately stay there again, 20 mins on the tube to Euston so quite handy for things.
Nothing - all brilliant
Inexpensive. Connected to pub, so you could get food late at night.
Walk up to room on 2nd floor cluttered & dirty. Looked like a remodeling project that hasn't been completed yet. 15 min walk to nearest tube stop than 40 min ride to city centre, but that's why it was £55 per night.
Location was not too far from railway station; lots of places to eat nearby and beer available from pub downstairs. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Nothing really. Beds could maybe do with an upgrade to make them more comfortable but hard to argue with the price I got the room for.
Bed was very comfortable
Window frames were filthy
- staff - pub downstairs - quite nice rooms - bus stop 20m from the hotel - tesco across the street
- quite noisy street during night (not a big deal) - almost impossible to open the window (in one room only)
Really comfy bed, airy room, big bathroom with a good sized shower. Has a tesco and a really cheap (but good) Indian restaurant opposite - handy for if you forgot something for the trip! has the usual tea/coffee /miniature toiletries in the room they also keep a selection of DVDs that are free to borrow for guests
was much further from the tube station than I expected! 2 mile walk.
Spacious room, good beer and pub atmosphere downstairs, clean, nice staff
Street noise and light at night
The room was very large. .. and if all the sights and sounds of a busy London Street make you happy. ... This might be a plus for some!
2 single beds on wheels. .. slid around when moved in bed. Window shutter completely broken so no privacy. .. Lucky we were high up. Place fairly clean in bathroom but not elsewhere. Clearly not bothered about who stays. ...Must have been about 6 teenager's next door room having a party. No sleep all night as a result. No facility to call management. Pub resembles east end gangland. Smashed drinks fridges and dodgy customers. ... Were quite concerned someone might walk into our room in the night. In photos pub looks like it's a lovely detached building. It's not. It's on a hugely busy Street. There is no parking at all outside or on the road the pub is on. Parking is a good 10 minute walk away. I would never stay here again. ... booked to attend a nearby wedding. We were gone 7am having given up on sleep.
Comfortable bed and lots of space. Excellent cafe round the corner for breakfast. Even better Asian restaurant opposite. Beer brewed on the premises.
Lots of stairs! Restricted parking although it didn't give us problems this trip.
Great old East-end pub with character and superb beer range, attractively priced and brewed on the premises!
Can be a little noisy at night. No breakfast.
we stayed here for one night as we were going to the theatre. all hotels in central London busy so was bit worried it was way out. Very friendly staff and room comfortable although up several flights of stairs!!!Easy transport links to everywhere. clean and good value for money. Y A
Pub itself smelt quite smoky but was typical of its age.
Good staff. Great pub with great beer. All u need close by.
Needed to fix the blinds.
The brewery beer, evening food. Location was typical London east end with a mixed ethnic community. cycling was not too bad for London with Lee valley cycle tracks a mile away. There was just enough room behind the pub for out bikes.
Noise at night, lack of parking, room at the top of the house, no lift.
Great Pub and very local ales (made on site). The Bitter was excellent. Live music some nights. On end of city bus so can ride the double decker to the city centre (90 min, but no longer accept cash so have to get rechargeable card from near by shop).
Their phone number didn't work. Parking is just on the street and much is restricted in the day time.
Value for money Public transport Friendly locals Shops and various restaurants close by
Outside noise early in the morning, windows only single glazed
Have a great Pub downstares, with a large tradicion.
All the rooms are at the last floor....
Brew their own beer.
All their beers tasted of citra hops.
Excellent staff great atmosphere and good food

vey clean. friendly. great beer.
Value for the money.
A bit dingy
I was down in London for a gig and wanted to stay in the legendary William IV as I am a beer fan. I was not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub and beers were excellent and very good value for money. I look forward to staying again at some point in the future.
No complaints about anything.
good london pub
shower not the best
very friendly staff. helpfull
It seems very danderous, don't recommend for young girls
Cheap option in London
Bad area, far from city centre, poor room
