Wonderful place, Geoff was so great helped us with everything we needed & more the pub was wonderful rooms upstairs were great, you could never hear the pub from your room. Bus and train station were so close easy to get around. What a great place & time :) we would highly recommend

Recently spent a week at the King William. If you're looking for luxury accommodations, this is not the place. But if you're looking for an affordable and clean place with a wonderful staff, you won't be disappointed here! Geoff and Emma-Jane were fabulous hosts and the amazing Brodie's Beers featured at the pub were an added bonus. The room was clean and comfortable, and although a bit outside of London, we found it very easy to get around on public transportation. There are plenty of affordable places to eat nearby, and the breakfast across the street at the Bakers Arms was delicious! You might think staying above a pub could get noisy, but it was never an issue. And the food at the pub was excellent and affordable. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at the King William!

Very friendly staff, and a great selection of homebrewed ales. Good pub right in your hotel - what's not to like?! The pub can get quite busy, but once you are in your room, you won't hear the noise from the pub at all. Very convenient procimity to both the London Underground (Victoria line) and Londn Overground, which makes it easy to get around, and in to the city centre. Rooms were big, but still budget friendly.

Our room was very cold, as the windows to the street were very drafty. Noise from street (several buses stop right outside the pub) can be heard all night. Very low water pressure in the shower, but not a major downside. A fair bit on the outer scirts of London, means that most eateries in the close vacinity are deap-fried-chicken places, or "all day breakfast" places. If you want a more touristy menu, you'll need to go in to the city centre.

Very friendly staff. Owner was fantastic and exceptionally helpful. The pub was very friendly and, if you like cask ales, exceptionally cheap. To summarise, the King William is cheap to stay and drink, comfortable, clean and with a friendly atmosphere - and brilliant staff.

We stayed at this pub, the staff could not do enough for you, the buses are right outside the door very easy to go anywhere you want, will definitely stay at this pub again, cannot say enough about the place,,

The beer is brewed there is amongst the best ive ever tasted. Geoff is a great bloke, tells you want you need to know, etc. No noise from pub once in your room.

Nice old victorian pub and brewery. Good beer.

Broken sink, broken wardrobe, broken chair, uncomfortable bed with a dip in the side. Tea + coffee facilities poor, cups not cleaned/replaced the next day. Noisy. Shower rail broken. Draughty windows.

Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Quiet given that it'a above a pub. It's really good for a short economical stay in London

The pub was brilliant, great choice of Brodie's Beers and great locals. The staff were friendly and the hotel was easy to get to.

The room could've done with a bit of maintenance, lots of things were broken, but that did add to it's charm.

The beer was absolutly superb, nice curry house opposite too with fabulous transport links and friendly bar person showed us our rooms.

Absolutely fabulous! I don't have a bad thing to say about my stay here and I unreservedly recommend staying at the King William iv Pub And Brewery to everyone. All the staff are wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and Geoff and Emma make you feel like you're one of the family. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have everything you'd need. The pub itself is gorgeous and very friendly and relaxed. When I first booked I thought the rooms might be a bit noisy, but I never heard anything from the pub once I was in my room, and although the road out the front can be busy it was never an issue once you're inside. There's a Tesco opposite which is so convenient, and transport links are unbelievably good. I was over here for work and had to go into the centre of town everyday. There is bus stop right outside the pub with buses arriving every couple of minutes, and tube (& overground) stations nearby. Door-to-door it took me less than 30 minutes (including walking to work from the tube station). I am a solo female traveller and I felt completely safe here. Usually I rent an apartment when I come to London and stay in the centre of town for convenience, but the transport links from the King William IV Pub And Brewery are great, the area is interesting, and the large rooms, great staff and friendly atmosphere make it the best accommodation I have experienced. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in London.

Big room and very good value for money. Also, despite being far from the centre, it has relatively easy transport (if the victoria line is working) with many buses and bus access to tube.

There was a very big window with white blinds that let most of the street light in. Therefore the room was bright and quite loud throughout the night.

Their ales are varied and excellent. They were the initial attraction for us staying there. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food they serve. We found it quite good. We found food, beer and lodging costs very reasonable. The staff we interacted with were personable, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable.

While certainly not their fault, their location proved a problem for us. We were touring Central London attractions as well as sampling London micro breweries, and found we spent too much time traveling to and from London and Leyton.

Perfect location for Leyton Orient Football ground. Fantastic range of beers at great prices. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with regards to the locality and the brewing. Traditional east end pub with locals and full of character.

Excellent value for money in London. Excellent cheap beer. We are all real ale drinkers and were impressed! large rooms. Friendly bar staff.

TV didn't work in room two but that wasn' a great issue and we didn't report it. The area is a bit off the beaten track but we knew that! What was strange was that it was not easy to get in and out of the hotel in the morning when the pub was shut. I thought at one stage we would have to climb over the gate!
