it was really close to Luton airport. The shower basin and the toilet got clogged after the very first use of the shower and the owner did not handle this issue at all. He gave us a toilet pump to take care of it on our own, but the pump did not help whatsoever. We were unable to use the toilet and the shower again, and it also smelt disgusting. We were expecting some expert help and fixing, but the hotel had no night reception or night duty, No one came to help us. It was a pretty bad experience. We are going to dispute the room fare and if needed will file for a charge-back, unless we get a full refund from the hotel. We have photos to prove our case.

The pub itself was excellent, a friendly atmosphere and the food and drink good and well priced. My room was basic, a little shabby, but clean and a decent sized twin. En-suite toilet and shower were clean. The in-room continental breakfast supplied was fine, a nice addition. WiFi internet access was a bonus. Generally ample parking. Lovely location, but still only 5 minutes to the airport. The negative reviews for this establishment pick up mainly on issues of noise, the condition of the rooms and the pub's clientèle. First and foremost, it is a working pub, used by locals and contractors staying above. Dogs are allowed in the bar, but I personally like that. It was noisy over the bar at times and in the accommodation, as my room had very thin partition walls. My room was okay, although the mattresses were paper-thin.

My stay was the worse time I have spent in a hotel for a number of years. 1. The temperature of the room was 27.5 degrees and that was with the radiator off, There was no openable window so it was far to hot to sleep, which I never achieved in two days of staying there. 2. The toilet was connected to the hot water system so eveytime I flushed the toilet steam filled the room. 3. The outer door which was next to my room slammed averytime anyone went in or out.

Cramped bathroom. Very poor, uncomfortable mattress. Would have slept on the floor had there been space. Derisory breakfast. We decided that the croissants were for dunking!

A pleasant country pub near Luton Airport with very pleasant staff and friendly locals drinking at the bar. Real ales and pub food. The twin room was clean and quiet but had a minute shower room. OK value for money. A pleasant place to stay for a night before flying off on holiday or business. Very tiny shower shower room.

I liked the welcome when we arrived, very friendly. The room was clean and tidy. I liked the ramblin nature and quaintness of the buildin and how the room felt. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly stay there again and recommend the hotel to friends and collegues. twin beds

This is a small public house in a village location within 10 minutes of the Long Stay Parking at Luton Airport. The locals and the staff were friendly, the beer was of a good standard, the food was excellent. It is not something I disliked however the rooms are not large and the on suite facilities are small. However for what we required one night close to Luton Airport they were acceptable. I do not believe I would be able to spend more that one night in the room I had, however I could spend more than one night in the pub itself.

The staff. We arrived early and they were exceptionally welcoming and rushed to get our room ready. The pub itself was great. Lots of olde-worlde charm. Great food and competitively priced. The rooms are in the building adjoining the pub. Our bedroom was very, very small even by London standards although it was manageable -just. Unable to open the shower door up fully as it hit against the toilet. The bed was old and very uncomfortable too. You could feel the springs as soon as you lay on the mattress.

I would particularly like to thank the manager of the King William for coming out to find us when our sat-nav directed us to a location out of sight from the hotel. We found ourselves on a country lane, 11.30pm at night after a days travelling, and no doubt a long day for him. That was above and beyond the call of duty and much appreciated in the curcumstances.

It was value for money and close to the airport For the price you pay for the room I wasn't expecting anything extravagant. However, it doesn't cost anything to be clean. There were cobwebs in the bar and pub and the wall was yellow from nicotine stains. The glasses were dirty and also appeared to be stained a yellow colour. When dinner was served my partners burger came out on a mouldy roll. Rather than giving us discount or even a new dinner, a new top roll was put on the top of the burger. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable also. I have never left negative feedback for a hotel or B&B before so I wouldn't class myself as a 'complainer', but a lot would have to change for me to consider to go back there.

The breakfast, as it was only self service in the room, and left there a day in advance. Also there were 3 beds in one of the rooms even though there were only 2 guests so we had to collapse one bed and push it under the other to give us some space to use the room. The bathrooms were tiny. And the television was on top of the wardrobe which was a hopeless position.

I enjoyed my stay, the room was fine and the carvery meal was great, and good value too, at £5.50 (I think it was....) Breakfast, included, was misleading because it just consisted of cereal and bread rolls/butter/jam in bedroom !!!!!!!!!!!! If breakfast is included in accommodation then I would expect a cooked breakfast downstairs. I'm not really complaining because the price reflected all this, but I feel the description of the B&B should be changed to something like B&B with mini breakfast in room.

Staff were friendly enough that's it King William was close to airport and had good food reviews on arrival at 8.40pm we were swiftly told that the kitchen was closing at 9pm ,looked at menu which had a few choices on it ,asked for chicken curry for my wife (didn't have any) there might be turkey curry but after asking the kitchen(didn't have any) I asked for Rump steak (guess what they didn't have it) so we ended up with chilli I eat mine just but my wife didn't eat hers as it was far to hot (with chilli powder) that wasn't cooked out properly(I've been a Chef for 30 years and know what I'm talking about) wife wanted a sweet but was told kitchen would be closed .Went to bed to find an excuse for a mattress which was a disgrace and very uncomfortable would not recommend to anyone sorry
