Hotels should offer power point converters for overseas guests, few do in fact I know carry them routinely
The staff were all genuinely helpfull, comfortable bed, spacious peaceful room.
position in the town. staff attendance good bedroom and facilities good cleaniness good etc
only down side was, the meals/ cooking left a bit to be desired. about 6/10.
The food; the standard and condition of decoration; food presentation.
The vehicle entrance to the car park from East High Street is very narrow and needs to be negotiated with care. I wouldn't want to attempt it in a Range Rover or similar.
Location, Staff, Bar, Food, room-size, parking
Mattress a bit cheap & bouncy, TV reception, Drainage of water in bath/shower very slow.
Interesting historic building. Own Car Park. Town centre location Excellent cooked breakfast. Large clean room with character. Very friendly and helpful staff
Our room had opaque windows / window coverings (necessary as somewhat unattractive outlook and presumably also offered a degree of enhanced privacy). Some mould on silicon seals in bathroom.
Excellent position, clean, tidy hotel.
Would have been nice to have had breakfast included in the price.
Very good all round
Stairs a bit unusual up and down. Rooms a little noisy
The room was located overlooking the main street and thus my sleep was disturbed with traffic noise. I thought that £8 was too high a price for Pate & Toast so I never ate in the hotel. £1 spent on an overhaul meant the rooms and bathrooms were excellent, but every floorboard squeaked in the room, corridors and stairs which gave the hotel an overall cheap and shoddy atmosphere.
Very central and clean
Helpful, friendly, polite staff at all levels. Easy parking a big plus too. Breakfast excellent
1. Expensive for facilities. 2 .Room although in many ways good size and well equipped had no drawers for storing clothes 3. The door into bathroom had a horrible sqeek which must have been obvious. We fixed it in pono time with some medical ointment but should not have been necessary 4 on arrival two 90 year old guests not offered help with bags.
Easy to book
The traffic in the road outside
Breakfast Size of room
Creaky unlevel floors Noisy road outside Noisy residents TV not working Large bathroom but no shower
Location was good, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean with lovely bathroom. Service was excellent.
Didn't have our booking, even though we had confirmation email from Hotel (made main booking through Booking.com which they had but then added 2 extra single rooms direct which they didn't have). Had no hot water from evening through to following morning but gave us 10% discount from our bill (we had to ask for it though!).
Meal portions very generous. Local beer on tap.
Bathroom very small in our room.
friendly and helpfull staff
This hotel is well situated and provides a comfortable place to stay in Dorchester. The room we had was clean and well appointed . The staff are helpful and attentive. The breakfast was good but we would not recommend the bistro. The food was mundane and as there was an event on we had a long wait. Apart from this a good choice of hotel. The Italian restaurant on trinity street was very good value and the fish excellent.
As we mentioned the bistro. Breakfast very good but evening meal poor. Staff there are very attentive however.
It was very friendly and the facilities were good.
Locatie, bar & breakfast. The back of the hotel is quiet, especially compared to the front of the hotel
Moldy and smelling bathroom
Easy hotel parking. Good breakfast.
Tea was cold at breakfast
Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and attentive.
Position of Hotel was very convenient. Our room 112 was spacious and clean. We have re-booked with you for a break in June, but unfortunately this room was unavailable.
Decent comfy beds. Complimentary bottle of water and having tea and coffee machine. Great cooked breakfast
Window rattled when you walked
Friendly welcome Good food
Map of town at reception would be useful for directing people
Location ROOM QUITE GOOD
EXPENSIVE BAR VERY BUSY PUBLIC AREAS
