Great location, clean rooms, good value for money
Our room was much too warm for us even with the window open. It was not possible to adjust the temperature of the central heating.
Requested refurbished bedroom and got one. Comfy bed lovely room. Ongoing work clearly taking place in the hotel but did not cause us any issues.
More attention needed to cleanliness of corridors & stairs even though work ongoing some effort should have been made.
The room was clean and it is just accross the road from Kings Cross.
The twin room was pokey and smelt a little mouldy. No lift. Unfreindly and unhelpful receptionist. Expensive wifi. Shower did not drain properly so flooded not only the the shower room but also the bed room. Phone not working in room. Cracked basin. Poor quality, nasty toiletries. :(
Clean and location exactly as we wanted
It was not clear that continental breakfast was included in the price.
So close to St Pancras station
Room extremely small but fine if you are only sleeping as we were
The Hotel is being renovated so lot of facilities are restricted. The Hotel staff is very inquisitive so make the stay difficult first of all.
No disclosure that guests may be inconvenienced due to renovation work.
The location Staff Room
Being awakening at 05.00 by kids in room above
Staff were rude at check in but everything else was great!
Convenience to station and underground. Although it does not state it the hotel is attached to an Italian restaurant via and internal link. Room newly refurbished.
weird way the 'full breakfast' was described - my booking already covered continental breakfast; English breakfast was £6.95 extra if not booked the night before and £4.90 if booked the night before. The restaurant front door showed English breakfast at £5.95. If one had English breakfast there was no access to the continental breakfast facilities (cereal, drinks, juice) as these were on another floor. Rumble of underground. Extra £5 to put one case in a storage room
Mess & building site Leaking shower and flooded bathroom. Noisy beyond belief. Shocking breakfast - I mean really shocking And charged £165 for the "priviledge"
Very comfortable bed and spacious well equipped room.
Breakfast was poor quality. Staff were not very welcoming Room could have done with a desk - important for a business traveller
A really really great little hotel, scrupulously clean. Lovely little room (213). I honestly expected less based on its central location and low price so was blown away by the quality. Didn't get up for breakfast so can't comment on that. Will definately return on my next London visit.
The pillows are a bit thin. Could have done with a couple more. But I didn't ask for any and they're not mind readers. That is honestly it.
the location was just what we wanted
being on the top floor with no lift continental breakfast (would have liked an english breakfast) workmen working on a Saturday
You have to pay for wifi They didn't refill the sugar, milk and tea
As a single female visiting London for a conference I was a bit unsure of what to expect, but the warm welcome at reception and easy process to get booked in helped to make me relax. The size of the room and the cleanliness of the bathroom were great, as well plenty of coffee, tea a fridge and a hairdryer. The lively location in Kings Cross with lots of choice of eating and drinking places with access to London attractions was great for a safe wander around. Breakfast was simple but very nice. Overall fantastic and brilliant value for money compared to a chain hotel
My room was on the 3rd floor and the lift wasn't working so I was shattered after carrying a heavy case!
The shower was nice and modern
The halls smelt like damp, unsightly scaffolding outside , building materials all over the halls, smell coming out of the toilet, select choice for breakfast, staff on reception were not very welcoming
location and access to london central
noise from the road if the room you get is facing the road euston , thats all you can here all night could do with secondary glazing
Good location with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was not with a view, which made it quieter with little traffic noise.
Double bed against the wall made it difficult to exit without disturbing the other half. Our window was masked by scaffolding with workmen wandering up and down. Although on the 2nd floor, we could hear and feel the rumble of the underground trains.
Value for money, excellent location, nice clean warm room, hot shower, comfy bed,fridge..great stay! Will stop again!
Location is excellent. Secondfloor room way better
First room I got was on a basement level. No bigger than a box room and at a 110 quid a night a disgrace. Walls dirty and handle on bathroom door broke. Demanded a new room. Also this day and age charging 4% extra to use a card and 10 quid for WiFi a joke. Won't be returning.
Close to kings cross Good decor Friendly staff
The staffs were not friendly. They charged £2 per hour for wifi and £5 per bag if you want to leave it after check out. I stayed at Meridiana Hotel (which is nearby) the week before, and both wifi & storage were foc.
staff were not friendly. rooms very small. very noisey from outside and inside the hotel. Dirty in general. When I checked in I paid with a different Visa card than the one I booked with but the staff took payment from both my cards, they ommitted to tell me that I needed to use the same card as the one I booked with. They were extremely unhelpful when I later brought this to their notice. I strongly recommend to get a different hotel , do not stay here.
Convenient, clean, excellent staff. We liked the fact that you didn't have to go outside to the restaurant.
Excellent location opposite Kings X station and although busy area the hotel room was quiet.
There was renovation/building work going on and there was plaster dust throughout the public areas and an electric cable on the stairwell. None of the electric sockets in my room worked.
