The room was perfect and the hotel had everything, good food , bar ,atmosphere,very friendly welcoming staff.

Staff excellent all smiles and could not do enough for us. Lovely welcome by Gillian when we arrived. We have stayed before and had a room overlooking the square as requested. We know there are superior rooms in the back but we like to see the square. Meal times suited us. We didn't have breakfast but ate during the day.

The room was very comfortable and the staff very helpful and informative

The stable room only had a very small window so was a little bit stuffy for fresh air fiends, otherwise it was lovely.

The location in the centre of Masham was ideal for spending the day visiting the breweries. The split level design of the room worked well and there was good food and beer to enjoy during the evening.

The reception was a bit poor and when we got to the room cleaning was still been done, would have been told before we got to the room. Attention to detail in the room would have resulted in an excellent facilities score.

Everything was excellent, but most notable was how friendly the staff were. Food was excellent in the hotel, everything was spotless and the rooms were great - loads of character. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

dinner xcllnt at restaurant. larfe loft room. bathroom fine comfy bed. cheaper breakfast at cafe across road. plenty if free parking across road. interezting village. try pork pies from cheese shop.

lousy lighting in room. almost impossible to read. low beams in loft room. if over 5'3" u will bump your head. tall husband managed but had to be careful.

The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. Food was excellent.

nice staff, supplied gluten free bread - excellent, very convenient for our purposes, parking easy, courtyard rooms very quiet.

had to ask for hangers in wardrobe more than once,, no hot water in shower, had to move rooms - tea and coffee not replaced daily, furniture needs updating. More staff are needed on reception desk particularly on a Sunday afternoon.

Very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms, pleasant bar area and an excellent breakfast collection (continental & cooked). Very quaint setting in a pretty little market square.

Convenience of location. Style of building and welcome of staff.

Rooms were clean and tidy and the hotel allowed me to check in early because my room was ready. Took a chance and didnt book table for meal in restaurant, even though the hotel was fully booked there was plenty of space. This is also the best and cleanest bar in Masham, I did go to the other 2 in the town.

The hotels location and the warm welcome received . Food excellent.

The evening food was good. Breakfast was a little over priced for what it was.

The bins in our bathroom had not been emptied and there was very little toilet roll, we had to go and ask for more as there were no spares in room. The bathmat was dirty after being on the floor showing floor had not been cleaned thoroughly. This made me wonder if the bathroom had been cleaned since the last occupants had been in it. There were cobwebs in the corner of our bedroom also. When booking the room this was described as executive double, the room did not live up to expectation and appeared to be a standard double. Overall we were disappointed with our stay and service.
