The hotel was just perfect for our short stay, nice room food was tasty and just 2 mins off the m74, Shonnie at reception was so helpfully.
Location and the staff were outstanding.
Clean, friendly staff, good amenities
No real negatives. Stairs can be a problem with heavy luggage but we were offered help. We were on the first floor so no water pressure problems
Everything was great with our stay
Great staff could'nt be nicer
Doors to room squeaked and banged all night every time someone opened doors in hallway
Good location, friendly staff, room and bathroom good size very clean food good
Decor needs updating
food and staff were brilliant
Location was easy enough to find and not too bad for South Glasgow. Ample secure car parking and low cost of accomodation. Breakfast was good.
Very noisy rooms. Old style mortice locks and cheap hollow doors, constant slamming of doors well after midnight. Recommend earplugs! Bed was comfy and clean but room was diisgustingly dusty and fittings worn and shabby.
Friendly service Excellent food
Bathroom fittings a little tired and worn
A bit tired
The staff are the best thing about this hotel, extremely friendly and obliging. The food is also very good and there is plenty of variety.
The hotel is further away from the centre than the website suggests, some taxis will charge extra for taking you there. However, the car service the hotel use are very reasonable. Hotel is being gradually refurbished but the bedrooms are very small and a bit shabby.
Staff very helpful and courteous
Hotel seems dated could do with refurbishing
Very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast & bar food very good.
Fantastic staff ready to help
Large, spacious room, well equipped. Excellent shower. Very comfortable beds. My teenagers were delighted with the Wi-Fi provision! Lovely breakfast. Was given useful advice about getting buses into Glasgow which I would recommend doing.
Looks a bit tired from the outside, but much nicer inside.
It is an excellent hotel , it just lacks the finer detail .. The cooked breakfast was good ..
The duvet cover had no studs or buttons , just a large opening .. Also the grouting around the hand basin & rear of the toilet (shelf ) , there were gaps in it .. Little things that make all the difference ..
Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast in the morning.
Staff were friendly and polite; breakfast was good - decent range of choices; room had plenty of space - it was comfy and clean
A taxi ride away from the city centre, so it was a bit far out & public transport links weren't great
Being close to Hampden park Cooked breakfast Staff were polite
Dirty rooms full of dust and dried milk on the tables. Dirty bathrooms even though we asked for the room to be vacuumed it did not happen. Children running along the corridors making noise disturbing your rest.
Location & parking
Was a perfect location, staff were lovely, food was good, room was clean and comfortable.
Staff - nothing was too much trouble Food - all good quality
On function evenings - they noise through the floor went on until very late
Comfortable room and beds Free wifi
Overall my stay was good although I thought the whole breakfast experience let it down The cereal choice was very poor and you constantly had to prompt staff to replace the milk and juice We also ordered scrambled eggs one morning which arrived without toast - surely toast should be provided unless requested otherwise
Cocktail bar with good wine and reasonable prices. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Smoked haddock for breakfast exceptional.
Cheap plastic toilet seat which broke.
Absolutely everything about the place from the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff to the type of bar food, its price & its quality.
The bedroom we had was a triple which would have benefited from being a simple double or twin. As for the beds themselves they had seen much better days & nights.
