Location and value for money.
Hotel in the process of refurbishment...long overdue.
decor in bathroom could do with renovation - some of it was in poor state of repair -
Staff were courteous and willing to help. Although we arrived at the hotel an hour before book in time, the hotel allowed us to use the rooms, a welcome relief to us who had just arrived that morning on an overseas flight.I would recommend the hotel to any travelers.
Heating system was not working
Easy reach of city centre and M74. Good ambiance. Quality catering. Confident waitresses and bar staff. Excellent off-street parking. The provision of wifi but being free but see my other comment on connectivity. Television programming
Unable to access wifi. Need to calibrate old fashioned shower mixer.
Clean and comfortable room Breakfast was great
Wifi would never work
Staff were helpful when I found it hard to find the location. The room was a good size. Plenty of parking space. The room was cheap for two nights.
Lots of things, really: I found it hard to find the entranceway to the hotel, which I found poorly signposted. The bed was squashed up to the wardrobe, making it hard to open up and use properly. The shower water was tepid - hardly warm, let alone hot enough for autumn - and the shower screen was broken and on the second day I found blood on the window ledge and door hinge, which I lodged a complaint about.
Nice clean bedroom, good in size and facilities.
The bedroom doors naturally had self-closers but rather a loud bang when closing.
Excellent staff, all busy and attentively cheerful.Delicious food served in the bar and good breakfast. Housekeeping just needs a fresh eye over the bedrooms. Major refurbishment makes it all harder but I did see cleaning staff make great efforts.Well placed for getting round Glasgow .
The road noise made it difficult for me to sleep but my 'chum' was sparko through sirens et al!
Easy to get to, free parking, lovely food, comfortable bed, large bathroom, near to city centre.
Undergoing refurb at the time of my stay, so a few messy bits here and there, assume they will be sorted soon.
A very comfortable hotel, with excellent breakfast and excellent bar meals. Large car park with plenty of safe parking for all guests.
Nothing wrong with the hotel, except its booking system. When we arrived there was no record of our booking and we were sent for the first night to an alternative hotel. The hotel gave us a complementary meal as compensation.
Staff are nice and accomodating.
Very dated/old Far from the city centre Room is too small and not enough space to move around. No mirror inside the room, only in the toilet.
Friendly, welcoming and homely hotel to stay in. Rooms comfortable and breakfast excellent.
There was nothing I did not like.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with excellent facilities. Good bar and restaurant. Excellent breakfast included in price.
Nothing really. Exterior is not very attractive, but once inside this is an excellent hotel.
Lovely staff, lovely clean beds, good free wifi. Ten minutes from emirate stadium.
Wedding on with very loud music until 1am but it wasn't a major problem as we didnt have an early start the next day.
Warm , helpfull & friendly staff.homely, comfortable atmosphere..
Nothing as such .. Perhaps needs some makeover.
Lovely clean room
The food was terrible - very poor quality at dinner and breakfast
Interior very nice, breakfast was brill :) bed comfy and staff nice
Window was broken and if pulled hard could open when "locked". Bathroom a little dirty. But certainly not the worst iv ever seen.
Bus stop to city centre close. 2nd room was by far better than first. Staff friendly and helpful.
1st room very small. Toilet so close to wall that could hardly sit straight - seems to be a bit of a problem throughout this hotel. Not having been to Glasgow before - think hotel not in the best area of the city.
Friendly staff with decent rooms. Reasonable breakfast and free wifi. Hotel has adequate parking area and useful if you drive. Rooms fairly large
No lift and wifi keeps droping
The location and price is good
Arrogant manager who does not want to reason with clients, there was an overcharge in one of the rooms for one of our team leader and the manager exhibited high level of intolerance
The hotel was just perfect for our short stay, nice room food was tasty and just 2 mins off the m74, Shonnie at reception was so helpfully.
Location and the staff were outstanding.
Clean, friendly staff, good amenities
No real negatives. Stairs can be a problem with heavy luggage but we were offered help. We were on the first floor so no water pressure problems
