Central to London attractions Quite location On site staff very friendly and helpful Modern apartment nicely furnished, very comfortable beds, excellent showers, peaceful safe location
Wifi to expensive so didn't use. Ensuit bathroom underfloor heating wasent working. no safe for valuables.
It was deeply unsatisfactory that the flat was incredibly hot (25-26 deg). even after we turned down all of the underfloor heating thermostats we were still very uncomfortable and the children were very restless as a consequence. We could not open windows as the flat was on the ground floor facing on to alleyways so it would have been very insecure to do so.
large apartment good bathroom/toilet facilities excellent location no clutter very helpful staff could leave luggage
Street noise no free wifi
Central Location stones throw from St Paul's Cathedral. Modern, well equipped kitchen with all tools and utensils one could possibly need for self catering.
It's 2014, wifi shouldn't cost £12 per day. A01 Ground floor apt with no safe (was told we could pay more for an apartment with a safe). Stifling heat required open windows every day to cool the place down despite it being around 0°c outside. Bathtub was grimy obviously not cleaned for some time. Overall drab and dated furnishings, carpets, flooring, stained walls, etc. You never get the apt you select in the picture. Kitchen lacked simple items such as salt and pepper.
Staff, especially Thomas, were great.
My wife was working near St Paul's, and we needed a base from which to look for more permanent accommodation in the area - Kings Wardrobe was ideal in every way.
Loved these apartments! Having lived in London I was looking for something more to the west, but I am so glad we stayed here. We had 2 x 2bed apartments, they accommodated our request for them to be close (they were next door to each other), apartments were large, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Location is great - heaps of cafes and restaurants and supermarkets in the streets around and the apartments are in a lovely quiet courtyard. Tube stations are close and a cab ride to any of the sights, central areas in London under £10, although we walked a lot.
Bit hard to find at first, but once there very easy to get to. No free wifi but most cafés and restaurants in London had free wifi.
On arrival on New Year's Eve we asked the possibility of a baby sitting service for the night of the 1st, and we were told no worries we will sort something out. Which they did.
The beds were our only disappointing aspect of the stay but would not stop us booking here again.
Great check in staff Large comfortable apartment Location
Not a thing
Appartment was in great shape
Wifi is Quite expensive. It does not justify the high cost
Good location and helpful reception
Good space, facilities, location and staff
Much too warm, turned all controls down but made no difference - 27C in December!
Staying with Bridgestreet feels like home. It is not a hotel.
Bridgestreet should pay a bit more attention to equipment and keep up to be perfect.
The location is brilliant and the staff couldn't do enough to help. The apartment was large, comfortable and very well equipped.
Location is very good. Spacious room, very quiet.
The use of internet should be included in the price of apartment.
The apartment was spacious ,well equipped ,lovely location ,friendly staff we really enjoyed our stay
Location is very good for East London, excellent staff-very helpful & polite. Clean & spacious apartment with all services.
Additional charge for Internet - not good!!!
this is the second time my friend and I have stayed here, we love the size of the apartments and a bedroom and bathroom each, also 24 hour security. The desk staff were great and saw to a couple of minor faults in the apartment. the location is great with lots of places within walking distance. Not a lot to complain about.
Having stayed here a couple of years ago I did notice that some of the furnishings were getting a bit grubby and the apartment could do with a freshen up. Didn't like the bells chiming every 15 minutes but that's not your fault and eventually you get used to it!!
Excellent location in a very central but quiet and nice place. We got a recently refurbished apartment and it had all amenities needed for a short stay in London. The staff was friendly and helpful, the apartment was cozy. All in all this made our stay in London a perfect experience.
I would have welcomed some napkins in the kitchen I feel that for longer stays a service of two or three times per week would be better.
First of all the staff was very helpful. Initially they gave to us a flat that the bedroom window was just at the street. Impossible to sleep there. Fortunately they agreed to give to us a flat at the second floor. The localization of the Hotel is probably the strong point. Close to Train and subway station. Several places to buy food. The apartment was very large ones and the kitchen well equipped. Perfect.
I think the big problem is have only once a week someone to come to clean the rooms. We do not need someone to make the bed for us but at least we should have someone to take the waste every two days. Stay four nights, with no one showing up, to take away the rubbish, is something surreal. Does not fit at the level of the Hotel.
The location was close to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The space was really good.
Cleaning only weekly. 2-3 times per week would be a better minimum. The furniture was a bit run down.
Digital TV was hit and miss but thats all I could criticise..
Noise of scaffolders 2-4 in the morning Staff's couldn't care less attitude to above
Location is unbeatable. Apartment has all the necessary things and the beds are very comfortable. TV has many channels and the kitchen is outfitted well. Last but not least, bathrooms are well laid out and the water pressure in the shower is really good :-)
That particular apartment was a bit "older", the Kings Wardrobe Residence apartments are newer and there I have absolutely no complaint.
