Location was good. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was not as good as expected and food is only served in a very small window of time which is not sometimes convenient.

Pet friendly hotel with incredible staff, handy location just off motorway. Traffic noise was excessive and spoiled the overnight stay.

Situated in the middle of town with freindly and helpful staff. Good facilities in the room with tv, free WiFi, kettle etc. The rooms are very small and cramped, and could be noisy with the old creaky floorboards in the corridors and thin walls between the bathrooms.

The first thing that we encountered when checking in was the extremley helpful and friendly staff. We ate in the hotel on One of our nights and the quality of the meal was 1st class, as was the quality of the breakfast. Our 7 year old daughter tends to eat what she knows and is used to, this was no problem for the staff who were only too happy tp oblige. We were given lots of helpful hints and advice about the local area, and the whole experience was very enjoyable. When we checked out, the bill was very acceptable for value for money. Perhaps the time limit for breakfast could be reviewed on Sundays.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast. Lack of real ale in the bars. Surely there would be enough customers to make it worthwhile to offer eg Deuchar's ipa.

Comfort of room and good power shower. Very noisy guests returning late at night/early morning in creaky old corridors & stairs, banging doors and talking at the tops of their voices. But not really the hotel's fault!

Conveniently located reasonably priced hotel. The room was a bit small and the ensuite was too small, ideally.

The friendliness of the hotel staff is a key ingredient in this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Overall the Staff makes the place a pleasure to stay in. The Meals such as breakfast and dinners were deliciously made to a very high standard. Outstanding value for the Money !!!!! Christopher and Michael Mullen ( brothers :) ). Everything is Top Notch, No Downsides to the Kings Arms Hotel

Just a couple of minutes from the motorway, the Kings Head is ideally located as a stopover. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, bathroom was fine, the staff were friendly as were the locals in the downstairs bar! Great breakfast in the morning too. Free Wi-Fi a bonus. I won't hesitate to use this place again next time I am in the area, and would recommend it to others. I did not get a chance to sample the food as last orders were at 8.30pm, so I had to eat elsewhere. The food looked good though and reasonably priced, if the breakfast is anything to go by I am sure it is delicious!

This hotel was beautiful! It had plush carpet and a grand staircase. It was a little like going back in time, but with all the amenities of today. Our room was comfortable and clean, and most of all, it fit our family of 4! It is located in the center of Lockerbie and there were several restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There was a restaurant downstairs, but we didn't choose to eat there, as we were still out exploring the area. There was also a Tesco just down the road. Friendly staff and quiet rooms made for a wonderful stay!

Hotel staff was friendly (but not particularly helpful). The family room (for 4) we stayed was very different from what their image photo of family room. Very small (you can not walk even straight!), dump and dirty. Everything was dated and dirty. The bathroom was smelly. We have never seen such a dirty carpet in our life! Only one small dirty window in the room commanding only a next door neighbour's roof tiles. Tea cups were very dirty (never washed?). Breakfast room was dark and dingy. Breakfast was a big dissapointment. Not worth it. The image photo's in their website are misleading.

Booking in was very welcoming. Breakfast service very good. Disappointed that we arrived 15 minutes after last orders for food. Thought 20.30 a little early to close the kitchen.
