Overall good value for London; safe for woman on her own; excellent response to 'complaint' - faulty kettle in room replaced in 12 minutes from reporting fault to Reception. The price - but that's London for you? The breakfast is patchy - but fine if it's included in your room rate |

asked for a quiet room and surprisingly for Kings Cross, we got one. Good location for main line station or Eurostar very small room; minimum facilities like 1 towel between 2. For the price charged nowhere near value for money; better to go to the excellent Novotel up the Euston Road |

Excellent location - convenient to shops, attractions etc. Very good transport links More a "Carry On" film than a real hotel. Stayed there from Thurs- Sun recently. Staff very friendly but place is a shambles:Had to have room key re-programmed 6 times. TV didn't work for two days - repeatedly reported to reception. Safe (which had additional, daily charge for use never worked - reported several times. Had to wait (queue) for table at breakfast. On getting table had to queue seperately for (i) cereal (ii) toast - machine only toasted one side when you got to head of queue (iii) coffee and (iv) Hot food. By the time we got back to our allocated table the staff had given it to someone else!!! This was not a breakfast worth queueing once for! Staff ignored "Do not disturb" signs and cleaned the room whenever it suited them. |

very convenient for departure and arrival from Kings Cross Station. Staff very friendly. Breakfast provided (English and Continental) sets you up for a day in London. Our room overlooking the main atrium was away from the traffic, but the noise of the ventilation system affected sleep during the first night. |

The helpfulness of staff, spaciousness and comfort of room, the lovely breakfast, convenient location and overall value for money! Nothing. Lifts went bit do-lally on last day but this can happen anywhere. We used stairs and it didn't affect our enjoyment. |

Our car was hit by a dustcart outside the hotel and the staff couldn't have been more helpful in helping us sort it out. Deanna in particular got all the driver details, called the police and even arranged a complimentary breakfast for the family. The hotel was in a great position for all we wanted to do in London at a great price |
