The location of the hotel. Room size. Nice warm clean room. Friendly staff, very helpful. Breakfast.
Mattress bit lumpy.
Right in town centre. Excellent Save the Childrens Parade on teh Saturday - loads of activity and interest. This town is to be seen
Bathroom door a tad noisy and in need of lubrication or similar
Had a great time in wimbourne lovely town the hotel was the icing on the cake would certainly come back for a revisit and would certainly book to stay at the kings head hotel superb
location, friendliness, quality of breakfasts in particular
Food was very good and value for money good size helpings all staff were very pleasant and helpful a very relaxing stay and hope to stay longer next time
Very helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere. Had the best sleep for months. Loved the warm bathroom.
The breakfast coffee was dreadful I would have liked a pot of good coffee. The melon was not peeled well and had to leave it.
Central to the town square Free parking - even allowing us to leave the vehicle whilst we attended our meeting although we had booked out of the hotel Very helpful and friendly staff Lovely spacious bedroom and wonderfully comfortable bed
The TV controller would not work (BUT really not a drama)
Friendly staff Great bar
Signs to reception not obvious
Location is great. The breakfast was good, not kept waiting. Comfortable surroundings.Staff helpful.
Bed a little firm.
The room was exceptionally comfortable.
The food was not particularly up to standard.
The hotels was comfortable with excellent food. Staff pleasant and polite.
The lack or parking was a problem. I had to leave my car in a public car park overnight so had to get back to it by 8 a.m. to put a parking ticket on it.
The room we were moved to was lovely, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food we had was excellent. Staff were very quick to respond to our complaints and to correct things.
The booked room was too hot and shower curtain needed changing. The room we were moved to was excellent, but shower curtain had to be changed!
clean tidy and efficient
nothing original about the food or the decor, could have been anywhere much to hot
Excellent staff - really helpful and courteous all the time. They seem like an intelligent and motivated team. The location is great, although it can get a little noisy on the square. Nice, good sized room, just right for what we needed. Excellent selection at breakfast (everything from Yogurt to Muffins, pastries, cereal, fruit and the usual fry-up) and good value evening meals.
The room was too hot (other people seemed to have the same problem whilst we were there) but we resolved this by opening the window during the day, but appropriate heating settings would be even better, The hotel's central location means there's a lot of street noise on weekend nights. The double glazing helps with this.
Homely atmosphere Helpful staff Breakfast Room
We loved the location and the hotel was so comfortable and the food served was excellent, both in quality and value. Will stay there again with no hesitation.
Position great, free parking big plus and included breakfast very good. Comfortable but bit too cosy - had to open window to cool off!
Room was over recycling bins so view was poor, plus was noisy not only due to staff/patrons but huge extractor fan which started up about 6.30 am right outdid window. Know it's an old building but the floors were just too creaky.
The breakfast was good and we were served by a lovely waitress.
The creaky floorboards, but it was to be expected in a building such as this! It wouldn't stop us from using the hotel again, though.
Very friendly staff and the restaurant provided excellent food
Central location - close to Tivoli where we were going. Evening meal and breakfast were good. Staff very helpful and polite.
Church bells chiming on the 1/4 though my wife loved it.
