Just 350 metres from Torquay’s famous and bustling harbour, this 4-star Edwardian guest house provides cosy rooms with private bathrooms and views of Torwood Gardens. Small hotel close to the town centre and beaches. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. The hotel owners were friendly and gave us advice on places to go and where to eat, and the breakfast was fantastic. Excellent value and would definitely use again. Nothing

The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. The hotel has been redecorated throughout in the last year. Our bedroom had new furnture and the ensuite was refurbished just a couple of months ago. Breakfast really could not have been better. We would highly recommend Kingsholm. This is towards the budget end and in making ecconomies you can find the heating turned off during the day and over night. This is not a problem unless you happen to catch a very cold snap as we did in March the room can be a bit on the cool side. Whilst the ensuite was nice and new one oversight is the lack of towel rail heater.

A warm welcome in a really well run and excellently maintained property . Carl and June make sure everything is in order to make your stay a very good experience. Highly recommended you would do well to find something not to like !

I liked the overall atmosphere, June and Carl were very helpful, friendly and obliging. The hotel was spotless and to breakfast was amazing. Our room was light, clean and freshly decorated and the en-suite facilities were spotless. Overall we were made to feel very welcome. Torquay is quite hilly, but that is the nature of the area.

Staff very friendly and helpfull. Room very comfortable. Very clean and spotless bathroom. Would recommend to friends. Economy shower head (water saving) took a long time to get warm, not hot water.

A clean, modern luxurious little hotel close to the harbour in Torquay. Excellent customer focus, gorgeous modern room, and a quality breakfast. I could not recommend this place highly enough. If you're visiting Torquay then look no further Leaving....

We were a group of 4 Bikers on a weekend tour of the south-west and Kingsholm was the ideal stop-over for Saturday night. Carl and June made us feel very welcome, it's not a hotel, but a very good guest house at a very good budget price, which included a very good breakfast. Nothing.

Good location, close to Torquay centre had parking facilities at rear of hotel and parking at front of hotel which was very good as difficult to park in Torquay centre. Very clean rooms with everything that is needed. The dining room and lounge were very comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of variety. Tea and coffee offered in abundance. Very welcoming owners and nothing was too much trouble. Would recomend to all friends and family as very reasonable cost and very good value for money. Nothing - faultless
